So explosive and creative. A combine of The nr14 Loic Remy,Henry,Nzogbia

Such a frustrating game. City are not playing well at all, its just that every missplaced and second ball goes citys way. The lacking of finishing clear chances/goals is costing us in so many games.
-
Thing is even with 1 man down and 0-2, i felt hope that we somehow could turn it around. 2 years ago i would turn the game off at that stage. Howe has given the squad hope, courage and light no matter what situation we are in. Good or bad We matched them, created enough to be at least even.
-
Overall a good perfomance with a man down. We are lacking luck in the final third. Even if its a loss there is no shame in the perfomance. Happy for Ritchie to get some minutes

Its pain seeing this chelsea first half
-
Only watched the second half but what a game . Villa has been playing really good and very comfortable on the ball.
-
I was happy for Arsenal until i saw Artetas true colors against us. I hope they lose every game thats left of the season
-
To be fair to West Ham they played really well and played ball. Deserved point for them and the biggest highlight for me was Gordons cameo. Everything impressed me with him but mostly the way he passes the ball. Spreading them like arrows. I love Maxi but i shit my self as soon he has to make a pass.
-
Actually he plays ok even if hasnt scored sometime now. He has an incredible understanding with tripper and Bruno. Almiron is one of the players that allways tries even when we play bad. I just feel for everytime he gets subbed off more and more confidence is taken out of him.

Alot of misplaces passings, no chemistry, losing the midfield, wilson isolated again, the opponents danger in almost every counter attack they have, they dont seem afraid of St James Park.....yea first half felt lika a steve bruce game
-
Actually i missed the first 6 minutes.
-
There is no vision what so ever from the 3 CM. No chemistry at all. This first half takes me back to the Steve Bruce era. I know we are gonna have games like this, but really wish someone could step up when Bruno isnt playing. Hopefully Elliot and Gordon gets a chance in the second half.

Yea that should be correct. Burn scored his first acouple of games back and Botman is the only one left. But on the other side he is not letting many players score past us which is the important thing. But in the whole it would be amazing if he scored his first and the winning goal in the final. Would be remembered for ever
-
I think Schär or Tripper would do a job there if emergency calls. But really cant see Botman anywhere else besides CD
-
The missed trainings dont define him and shouldnt be used in terms of what kind of human he is. In a transfer saga there are many factors that pull the strings left and right. Everything from the agents to even the buying club telling him or his agent to do certain things. The missed training sessions probably lowered the transfer fee for about 10-15million. It aint a beautiful way to go but thats the reality. Personally i think in todays market 45m for a young english talent is fully acceptable. The only thing that concerns me is if this is the end for Maxi at this club. If thats the case then we may have downgraded ourself. From what i have seen of Gordon he looks promising. Hopefully Howe can revert him to play Willocks position. I like Willock alot but he needs some resting badly.

Agree with this! Link up play usually is perfect and he protects the ball well to then making a clever pass that opens the opponents. Last month hes been off it big time

In some moments Longstaff is good and doing som dirty work that maybe gets unnoticed. He seem like a good lad and will do the job thats in the frame of his capacity. In the long term he will not develop much more. I belive this is the Longstaff we will see for now and years later. I would love to have him as a backup player and use him in some games where someone needs a rest. Last night was one of his worst perfomances but in the whole he is a player that will put in a 6/10 rating 9 games out of 10. A perfect body to just have in the squad. For me his like a Phil Neville type of player.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

I totally buy into that! Think we all have trust in Howe and how he handles diffrent situations with the players. It has worked wonders and i cant blame Howe for anything so far besides maybe wanting Isak or Maxi being subbed on earlier in some of the games. But like i said, its just a feeling i have about him and that he seems a bit arrogant in personality. That has allways been a case with mostly flair players we had through the years. -

That cameo from Maxi was pure art. It changed the dynamics of the game and got everyone going. If you just focus on his play it will tell you alot. He is taking the instructions Howe has given him and he did it perfectly. Such a joy to see. Last time i felt like this for a player was with Hatem Ben Arfa. Really hope Maxi adapts like tonight and the goals will come. Just have a weird feeling from diffrent clips that Maxi isnt liked by many in the squad. He seems a bit arrogant in his personality and may be the reason why he isnt playing that much. -
Isak reminds me a bit of Henry. Capable of creating and whipe the floor with defenders by the quick moves. Capable of playing wide,CF and even RW by the looks of it. Would be nice if he scored with that chance but its easy also to see that he is a finisher that will score loads for us. He posses that icecold moves in the box that will sharpen up game by game
-
Isak will only get better the more minutes he gets under the belt. Saint Maximin also showed the old himself but also passed the ball when he should.
-
You know that chemistry on Fifa games. 100% and all players connected in the right way. For the last weeks we are lacking that big time. Trippier and Almiron are having their usual game and creating crosses that could result in goals but the left side has no go at all. For me only Pope, trippier, schär and botman are playing like usual. The others are acting to nervous and sloppy. Southampton on the other way arent playing good either and dont offer any threat at all. Wilson once again totally isolated.
-
For me a left side with Zinchenko, Big Joe at left CM and Maximin LW would destroy pretty much anything in their way. Joe covering up behind Maximin who would have the free role. Martinelli is very good but i have not given up on Maxi and wouldnt swap him. For me Isak is the bigger threat and a better allround baller. I think isak will explode as soon he gets some starters.
-
Botman usually gets more credit because as a new signing you want him to perform directly. Besides that Botman is a vidic typ of defender. Throws him self into everything. He gets noticed more that way. The thing with Schär is that he is so elegant and smooth with everything he does. Allways at the right place, driving forward and a very good passer. This attributes from both of them combined is jackpott and the biggest key to our form. If i had to choose the one, then for me it is Schär who has a more allround game than Botman.
