Brighton are doing some excellent work for some years now. They have such a strong dna from bottom to the top. Every year they find bargains that nobody has ever heard of. Top clubs coming in with the big money and buying 2-3 of them. Somehow they allways keep up and replacing those players with new performing bargains. Allways liked the way they play and if we somehow would miss out the 4th place i would love to see Brighton taking it.

Yea, a few more windows and we should be up there performing even better and having more quality options from the bench

I agree, Howe is achieving things ahead of where we should be. Its just so easy to look at that Arsenal line up and thinking that on paper they are pretty equal to us but in reality they were all over us in that 0-0 game. Tbf Arteta is also doing wonders with that team. Zinchenko for example reminds me of what Tripper is doing for us. Performing so well and boosting everyone in a way that is a huge rarity to find.

Really good game and really impressive condition of the Arsenal players. So well balanced team and keeping the tempo throughout the game is something. Like us they have invested smart in players and it shows. The big diffrence between us and Arsenal is that they are keeping the hungry mentality while our players seem gased at times. Ps. I lost respect for Arteta after they played us and would love them to bottle it but i cant lie to my self. They play like champions

Almiron is far from the old one. He plays smart with trippier and they are making crosses into the box and creating. Its just that nobody is lucky enough in the box to finish it off. Also Almirons first touch has upgraded big time.

Agree with this. Every time he gets in a position like that the shot is lame and straight at the keeper. Laurent Robert should be appointed as a shooting coach

We feel comfortable and dominating pretty good for an away game. Our defence has been top notch. Some half chances created but we need Isak or ASM badly to win the game. Wilson is to isolated upfront

Every time i see the Mctominay link to us i just get the same feeling when i see Wood in our starting line up or preparing to get in. It feels so empty and so joyless.

Its £15 million must buy clausul IF they for example stay up, he scores lets say minimum maybe 5 goals and so on. Its a long way to go to fulfill that.

There is a good player there. I just think the moral is very low in the leicester squad. Good players underperform. Just like our player played under Steve Bruce. He would be an upgrade on Longstaff.

I think everyone of us wanted Wood to be a success. Especially with the trasfer fee on his back. The thing for me is, yes a forward will allways miss some chances, but Chris Wood misses the few he gets and offers zero of anything else. Some strikers will miss but instead they will create space,make a clever assist/pass or being a beast at holding up the ball to the wideman overlapping. Wood offers nada,nothing! He will be very tough to offload.

Very poor tonight but he will become some player in 2-3 years time. There is pure talent in that boy. He wants the ball, he has the touch and vision, only needs to sharpen some areas and play regular football.

A sheep in a wolfs clothing! On paper you would think he offers strength, hold up plays, heading and a goal threat here and there. I cant see anything that helps us in any aspect of the game with him on. He has scored some goals and you would think his confidence would build up on that to the next game...wrong. Lacks self belief and i actually feel sorry for him but he would even struggle in championship by the look of it.

Such a lovely combo him and Schär. Botman reminds me of Nemanja Vidic,but also much more skillfull with the feet. Such a rare thing to have the calmness of a tiki taka defence with all four of them. Trippier a masterclass and Burn has Brighton dna all over him.

Has to be Bruno. Very inteligent with everything he does, but also only his presence is something i belive every player on the pitch feels. The presence of a leader and a warrior. I feel the same about Trippier. Its the spiritual energy they give to others around them that has made Newcastle once again "united"

I dont get all the hate towards countrys like Russia for example. Its allways the same every time...Russia are bad,Russia is the biggest threat to us, Russia dont have any human rights bla bla. Traore has no end product at all from what i know. Zero end product! He is fast and is capable of Ben Arfa style runs through the pitch, but his selfish ego for the ball wont do us any good. Really mental crazy transfer window this. It seems like it has become a standard fee 50-60m£ for players that really havent shown anything special. Wonder how much Ronaldos transfer to Real would generate in todays market.
