  1. This is correct. (Not sure on location but they’ve definitely just bought a new house)
  2. They’re aiming for a late October return to full training… mid-November to competitive football is the plan as things stand.
  3. Would still be surprised if he left 🤷‍♂️
  4. I think the away and third kits, and training gear, look fine. Still think the home kit is pretty shit (mainly due to the side “horns”).
  5. As I said at the time (from usual sources… as close as you can get to 100% fact), and has been reiterated to me a few times since, the Gordon stuff about his “head being turned” is absolute nonsense. There was an approach from Liverpool a few weeks before the PSR deadline. It was rejected straight away. There was another approach a few days before deadline which was also rejected. Anthony is fine and has no issues with NUFC at all. Loves it here and wants to progress with us. And as far as I’ve been told, that “medical booked” story is completely fabricated too.
  6. 😂 I genuinely don’t understand how anyone can watch his interviews today and see anything other than a happy, committed, man. The tiny bit everyone seems to be getting hung up on is Eddie, quite sensibly, saying that a lot has changed over the summer so providing nothing drastically changes with his role he is 100% happy… he then goes on to say that there’s no reason to think that anything will change / thinks it’ll work fine, and goes on to praise Mitchell massively. So what’s the problem? All of this sounds perfectly sensible and understandable considering the amount of changes. I genuinely think Ashley broke a lot of your spirits like… it’s a perfectly innocent interview, very reassuring in my eyes (how many times does a man have to say he loves it here, is happy, committed, and doesn’t see a problem arising?). You’re getting hung up on some subtext that you’re trying to spin into impending doom. I just don’t see it at all.
  7. You said "the other issue is lines seem to be blurred within the club". Again, no mention of that from Howe at all. I dunno man, it just frustrates the hell out of me when people (not you specifically) take the most negative spin out of a perfectly fine (and tbh pretty reassuring) interview.
  8. Watch this video - Nothing at all suggests that a boundary has been overstepped.
  9. Give over man... it's a perfectly diplomatic response. It's a "I'm happy but I need to make sure I can work properly with the new people who've come in". Doesn't remotely suggest that any boundaries have been overstepped. Watch the BBC Newcastle interview. He's fine.
  10. Where is this from? Because he says repeatedly that he feels like the new structure will work and that he's happy?
  11. Am I watching something different to everyone else? In both the NUFC TV interview and the BBC Newcastle interview he repeatedly says how happy he is? Isn't it obvious that he will need to continue to feel supported moving forward... not sure why that's news?
  12. Does he look remotely unhappy in that NUFC TV interview?
  13. Raphinha is the one they want, apparently, but to be honest I’m not 100% convinced how my source(s) would necessarily be privy to that level of info.
  14. Not watching the match but I’m going to guess, if it’s anything like previous, Kane needs to be subbed?
  15. Absolutely adore that man ❤️
  16. Hardly edgy 😁 I guess I’m just trying to understand why I don’t feel anything for them. Like, I know I should, because I’m English and I love football, but it’s been weird. I’ve watched pretty much every single game of this Euros, and I’ve found myself being far more intensely involved in other games (for example Georgia’s run, and Turkey) than England. I’m struggling to compute why the emotion just isn’t hitting me with them. The Watkin’s goal last night was brilliant… an outstanding finish… but I hardly flinched when it went in. Tell me why I don’t feel anything, because I don’t understand 😁
  17. Yeah, I felt strongly enough to come in here and share my opinion on what I’ve watched and how little I’m interested in the outcome 👍
  18. This tournament has taught me one thing. I genuinely don’t give a shit about England winning anything. I feel absolutely nothing for them 😬
  19. Just to add a little tidbit of info I have... nothing concrete (more opinion I guess)... but I'd still be surprised if he leaves this summer. His family are VERY settled into life in the north east... the house is for sale, true... but from what I've been told that is simply because they're moving / have moved to a different house. Some of his extended family moved up in January. His friends groups (and his wife's) seem to be (outwardly at least) speaking very much like they're here for the long term. Just to clarify, that's not concrete info, just my sense from chats I've had.
  20. I know this is nothing new, but I've been told AGAIN today that Gordon has no desire at all to leave NUFC (usual sources). Reading between the lines, I do think a number of clubs have enquired which is to be expected, and I guess if we accepted an offer things could change, but he is absolutely committed to NUFC and loves it here. I see the speculation has reared its head again in the last few days, and it's just simply not true.
  21. He's doing well, yes, but October would be highly optimistic.
  22. This is factually complete bullshit.
