The “European expert” on SSN that claimed Sesko wants Man Utd… some bloke called Kevin Hatchard. You know, that really well known, well respected, journalist who always breaks the big stories. 🙄

None of us have a clue what’s going on. Pure speculation because we’re frustrated / scared of missing out / been burnt too many times this summer.

It doesn’t work like that though. He can be interested in joining us whilst still wanting to see all of his options, and that’s fine.

If it was true and he’s officially “chosen” them, it would have been picked up by everyone. Sounds more like some blokes opinion, going along with speculation.

Oh pack it in with the negativity. “Just ringing around”? Do you honestly think that’s what’s been happening? 😁 I know, direct from various people, how much work goes into all of this. Well they’re wrong. If Ramos or Sesko sign Isak is 100% leaving. I don’t have even a single doubt. Wissa, Strand Larson… they’re the Wilson replacements.

Hang on… he’s not “way down our list” at all. The only two strikers we’ve been out and out linked to since it became clear Isak was wanting out are Ekitike (who Liverpool used as leverage) and Sesko. Pedro and Delap were 100% supposed to be backups, and in Pedros case, a number 10.

I mean, much of what you said there is pure conjecture (how do you know whether we did or didn’t do all of that?) and entirely irrelevant if a club, in the case of Delap, Mbeumo (and probably others) offers an extra £100k in wages per week.

I’m usually critical of Hope, but his latest video is pretty accurate I think.

Out of curiosity, I asked ChatGPT to do deep research using form, stats, data from Transfermarkt and other similar sites, coupled with comparable players and recent big sales. (I know, I know… AI can’t take into account the emotion of it) It came back with €120m - €150m. Euros, not pounds. So closer to £130m at the top end of its estimate. See below:
