Matt Ritchie (now playing for Portsmouth)

all set pieces? Might as well play him AM. I also think he's worth trying there. I think he can do the job Perez does but with a bit more end product. I can't recall him ever playing that role through the middle for us before? Feels like he would fit it, may be wrong though. -

What an unusual to see headline. Fair play to him, does what he wants clearly.

I'd take him as he he has potential, but imo he's only slightly better than what we have in Mitrovic and Gayle from what I've seen. That said I think he's a bit more of an all round player rather than just being a link up man/poacher.

Here's to a not so happy Christmas for certain parts of the West Midlands. http://i66.tinypic.com/15holcl.jpg

Get Santon back.

Great display of kindness & compassion, regardless of how much money he has. Acts of selflessness like that are of benefit to all not just the person directly helped, imo. Love him

2 assists? What's that then 6 for the season? Doing really well on that front, still a really valuable player to us despite his slight dip. -
Classic outlook, that. All these teams are terrible and get relegated after Pardew leaves! Be careful what you wish for! So underrated! Except it's that he's been so boring that they haven't watched his team, so bad that he's broken multiple club records in shitness, and then either leaves or gets sacked by clubs desperately trying to change their fortunes, leaving the next poor f***er with an impossible task of turning things around. Naturally they get the relegation headlines and Pardew can walk into another job having already washed his hands of Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook. Spot on, teams look worse when he leaves cause the damage he has done takes a good while to reverse. Oh well, let them find out for themselves like Palace & us. We were warned by WHU & Southampton fans just as Palace were warned by us. Media opinion reigns over fan opinion still, though I suspect the tides are changing.

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

This, keep him in and bring in mitro and aarons for chelsea Agreed (as I tend to agree with most of what you post ) I'd start the Chelsea game with the side that finished the West Brom game. Only possible change would be Murphy for Aarons as his fitness may not be up to scratch. -
I know what you mean, he sometimes doesn't seem in complete control of the ball which sometimes actually helps him beat his markers. I think it's still a confidence thing though but he is growing rapidly.
-
He did, he scored a few of his goals from a more central position for Norwich. He's got a really quick turn of feet so coming through the middle makes him even less predictable for defenders. Always seems willing to shoot as well which is good.
-
A couple of Shelvey's passes were world class I thought mind, as good as anything you'll see. I agree though about Aarons, looked dangerous & direct.

The second was absolutely incredible.

Yes, but there's no argument either way when the alternative's no better. Really, unless we're playing in a certain way that absolutely cannot be done with Gayle, he's the only one with any really big argument for playing. He really really is. Even if you dislike the lad it's there in plain sight how much of an improvement he made to us there. Hopefully even you can admit that. I'd doubt anyones knowledge or even just eyesight if they were to dispute that now. Deserves 3 starts in a row at least to get into the swing of things.

Fantastic today, well played Mitro
