  1. What a comeback by Lokomotiv Moscow v Nice.
  2. Ostersund are doing okay now, nice and combative - they just need to start pulling the trigger when they get the opportunities. Tried to overplay a little then.
  3. Swedish league is probably worse than the Championship, the fact that Östersund has made it this far is absolutely incredible. Plus as Disco says, they aren't match fit and it's showing. Aye I feel bad for saying so given what they've likely overcome to even be playing this game, but all I can do is call it how I see it and they started very very poorly for the first 25 minutes or so. Barely Championship level was being generous
  4. Hate to say it, but Arsenal's opposition look barely Championship level. Easier than a training session so far this.
  5. Aye, Navas wasn't great at City overall, but there's no shame in getting beaten by him for pace. That's hardly a fair criticism of Dummett.
  6. It's got to be Agadoo, like... Duuu brav ka ka ka Keeps the ball out of the net Duuu brav ka ka ka Has he got some new gloves yet? I like it.
  7. Think that's a pretty spot on assessment tbf, especially the bolded bit.
  8. I think people are forgetting Jose Enrique who went on to become a great goalkeeper for Liverpool.
  9. Really wanted Santon to be good, but he was pretty lax most of the time. That said what I remember him for are his two brilliant performances against Chelsea, one being the 2-0 win and the other the 3-2 win. He was excellent in both and assist twice brilliantly.
  10. In terms of a song for this lad (as it's clear he needs one), Babooshka might be a bit hard for the majority to catch on to, so what about re-using the Debuchy song with Dubravka in place?
  11. He was a decent player. Had a good run in the season we finished 5th. Think he played the 90 in that West Brom away game where we looked as good as anyone that first half. Also remember him scoring a belter against Fulham.
  12. I seem to remember Simpson getting rinsed on the regular tbf. You can't really accuse Dummett of the same for a good while now. On Simpson being a hoof merchant, you remember the pass he played to Sissoko to set up Cisse's goal away at Benfica? Glorious He didn’t really get rinsed regularly. He would back off a lot but constantly rinsed? Nah. Aye I think he had another one in that tie. Amazing stuff lol. Fair enough, I probably remember him as a poorer player than he actually was/is. Other than clearing off the line on numerous occasions, I can't remember him being particularly good at anything though.
  13. Sounds a low number but when you factor in Given, Harper & Krul it makes sense.

  15. Wouldn't know either, I'm not in the loop with Fifa & their weekly team thing. Maybe Lascelles has already had it or something.
  16. In the Man Utd game? Lascelles for me, he was on the end of everything, really impressive.
  17. Copy the URL into here. https://twdown.net/ (I've just tried it and it works fine)
  18. Was really funny watching the match Sunday with a decent Liverpool fan. He literally knew all the criticisms people might have of Rafa ahead of me talking about them down to him having a hard on for a specific signing so even if he can't get the player he wants he'll go down to #6 on the list (his example was Joselu!). In games subs and everything, he knew the lot. Thing is he f***ing loves Rafa still, won't have a word said against him. Yeah tbf to them, I read reports from quite a few different Liverpool fans who told us that we'd sometimes be left scratching our heads or outright disagreeing with some decisions he makes, but to stick by him as he's an incredibly thorough manager and it's all part of a grander scheme. They were bang on thus far. People have complained at line ups incessantly this season, but if we end up staying up (and we will), his squad rotation policy will likely have played a massive role in it.
  19. Would've suggested those 2 games as well. Huddersfield away last year Rafa completely outthought Wagner tactically in such an important game, and Sunday was just brilliant. Aye Huddersfield were flying at the time iirc, so Rafa had a lot of work to do preparing for them. To then pull out a 3-1 away win was impressive.
  20. Deserves better passing. He's better than most midfielders at playing those weighted balls forward. Hits his target very regularly.
  21. Aye it'd have to be something worth analysing. The Spurs game as great as it was, I felt just ran on emotions alone and an incredible atmosphere in the ground. That Huddersfield away game last season or the Man Utd game just gone would be the best bet imo.
