I don't wish to over dramatize here but I was both saddened and disgusted at some/most of our fans yesterday. I mean 11 minutes, 11 fuckin minutes of your life is all we asked. Then some protesters get abuse whilst taking their seats, it beggars belief. The wife and I are seriously thinking about jacking this in. I have been following the Toon since I was 11 years old, I am now 61 and I have never felt like this.

JCONA, I couldn't have put it better. I think that's what I've been trying to imply. The negativity of some on here beggars belief. Do you know what? These protests and boycotts may not have the outcome the Magpie Group would ideally like. But I for one can look myself in the mirror and say "at least I tried".

Well, according to this forum it's blown over. I will act according to what I feel is right. Same as 1892. 11 minutes and Wolves boycott. It's a small price to pay.

I'm doing the 11 minute walk in then boycotting the Wolves game. People mentioning our winning run as "coming at the wrong time" are totally missing the point of what The Magpie Group are trying to achieve. It we remain unbeaten all season I will still do everything I can to get rid of Ashley. We are not even treading water with this owner. We are massively going backwards compared to other Premier clubs. For Christ sake, just do it for 11 minutes. It will not kill you.

I remember the Andy Cole hat trick that day. Believe it or not, I had my betting slip written out with Cole hat trick and 3-0. The wife saw my betting slip and "persuaded" me to not put the bet on. She said it might put the "mockers" on. I wasn't too happy with her at the final whistle. We are still married and still have our season tickets. However, I never tell her of any bets I have on now.

Ashley and Bishop have won. Not sure about that like HTT.

I still stand my corner reefa but we are so down at the moment. I hope I don't come across as all dramatic,we are talking about a game of football after all but we feel as if we are just going through the motions on a match day. We always said as soon as the enjoyment was missing then we would go missing. It's not like we demand to win every game, christ we have been through some crap. We also love our rugby union and we discussed the forthcoming rugby internationals. So we have decided to do our personal boycott whilst the internationals are on. I'm not giving the season tickets to anyone mind. I also attend the Magpie Group meetings and the lads and lasses there have giving me that extra incentive to stay away. Breaks my heart if I'm honest.

Me and the wife are not attending the next three home games. We have been season ticket holders for thirty(yes 30 years). The life and sole has literally been drained away. Sad.
