Some people are fucking mental. Lad sits over from me at work renewed saying he enjoys the day out and Ashley isn’t going to stop him. For me he doesn’t really give a shit about the club he is more bothered about his afternoon out. If people loved the club they would give their season ticket up for the greater good. Claims it is directly from someone who you will see at the match with Ashley but mainly Charnley on regular basis. He has posted on there for a number of years. To be honest it wouldn't surprise me its following the same path every other takeover has. How I read his tweets was that Ashley wanted another £50 million up front so same price but they were obviously paying over instalments and they were paying maybe £100 million at first then £100 million a season for the next 2 years with a final £50 million payment (this is just an example I have no idea what any arrangement would be). But now he is wanting £150 million up front.

If true there are many ways to read into it:- 1. Takeover done, to be announced next week...Ashley decides he doesn’t want to be around when it all happens 2. No takeover, no deal for Rafa....Ashley runs scared and pisses off on another holiday. 3. He’s trying to get more money than is already being offered and is off to the states to try and drum up more interest. 4. He’s taking the p*ss......couldn’t give a toss about the supporters, and is off on another jolly. Number 4 sounds about right It is number 1 - certainly. This whole "quiet time", that is upsetting (worrying) so many people, is totally the correct and ONLY way that a proper takeover and all the legal complications can happen, in peace.
