I don't think that was the deal. This was after Keegan left and they had gone to Dubai to try and sell the club but it wasn't the the City owners. I remember at the time my mates father in law was good firends with Derek Lambiases secretary and she had rang him to say we had been sold to investors from Dubai. They just had to go over and meet them and the paperwork would have been signed but apparently Ashley and his cronies had pissed them off and this legal dispute might be the reason. They dont like people that cause bother in Dubai they are very strict.

Just having a discussion with my wife this morning about boycotting any retailers Ashley owns or has a interest in. One thing I thought about is Debenhams and how actually we want to be doing the opposite with them we want to be using it for shopping. Ashley wants Debenhams to fail so he gets a cheap deal just like HOF so it would be in our interest to make Debenhams a success. Not sure if anyone agrees with that logical or not?

I don't think it will never happen just don't think it will happen in the near future. What I should have said was not to let the talk of a sale stop us from putting pressure on Ashley. Its all PR from their side to try and calm everything down, which has worked in the past but I don't think will work now as people have grown wise to their PR shit.
