  1. It was some random one off poster on NUFCBLOG.com and absolutely nothing in it whatsoever.
  2. I cant decide if he is really shit at PR or really good. On the one hand he doesn't seem to be doing very good job at the moment but on another hand is it the fact that even with all the best PR in the world Ashley was eventually going to get found out by everyone and their dog and he has done well to keep a lid on it until now.
  3. Got a link? http://www.nufcblog.co.uk/2018/09/12/nufc-reporter-reveals-what-mike-ashley-has-now-told-friends-about-a-takeover-good-news/
  4. I don't think it will never happen just don't think it will happen in the near future. What I should have said was not to let the talk of a sale stop us from putting pressure on Ashley. Its all PR from their side to try and calm everything down, which has worked in the past but I don't think will work now as people have grown wise to their PR shit.
  5. No point even talking about a sale it wont happen. Also I have just looked for any comment from Mark Douglas about this and cant find a thing even on his twitter so its utter bollocks. Maybe it was Michael Douglas mentioned it and they got confused.
  6. Exactly it says Mark Douglas said it but can’t find any article that would back this up. Load of bullshit to get hits on their site.
  7. Any specific reason? They have been forced to hand over their accounts and e-mails for the 2016 business year due to unspecified costs that weren't shown in the accounts. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-09-11/sports-direct-must-hand-over-documents-to-frc-u-k-judge-rules
  8. Was Polygon, not Sports Direct, that registered nufcdirect.com Is this guy barking up the wrong tree then? Poor fella definitely thinks he’s onto something! Who are Polygon, and is he right that the domain was registered months before the club was sold? Seems they were part of a consortium who were looking to take over in Jan 2007, can't say I remember much about that though..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/6229885.stm Where they the ones fronted by a ex Liverpool player and they were a Asian communications company or was that later they were interested?
  9. I would still want Ashley out of the club, the guys a snake and will always be that way. He just cannot be trusted No totally, of course. I'm just wondering that Ashley might look at £200m banked income last 2 seasons and more to come then actually offer Rafa money to spend if he signs on. He'll have £200m TV money to pay for it and can spin it as *him* spending finally and backing Rafa. Just a thought. I can see him trying to keep Rafa on personally. Slight issue with that plan is we might not be in the Premier league to give him any money.
  10. Couldn't be arsed to go to the Metrocentre is the key there. There's no such thing as 'The High Street' - it's Eldon Square/ Metrocentre. There's a handy list of alternatives to SD here: https://www.sportsredirect.com/ Even ASDA do them: https://direct.asda.com/george/men/shoes/umbro-speciali-football-boots/GEM466205,default,pd.html Must admit I didn't think of Asda
  11. What surprises you is what little alternative there is to Sports Direct. I needed some football boots short notice on Saturday and didn't want to pay too much for them. I didn't want to go to Sports Direct and couldn't be bothered to go into the metro centre for DW sports (not sure if they are even cheap there) so I tried Windsors down Swalwell but they didn't have any. In the end I had to borrow some of me mates and order some online. He really does have a monopoly on the high street.
  12. I have seen that one a few times flying over Burnopfield where I live and I work near the airport and seen it there a few times. At first I thought it was his but I think it’s some Northumberland tours helicopter unfortunately.
  13. It's the people not willing to protest inside the ground that I don't understand. Tbh this battle is way more important than what happens on the pitch. Whether we survive or go down, in the grand scheme of things it matters not one bit. Rafa won't be here this time next year regardless (unless Ashley is gone) and i'd expect 2 or 3 of our better players won't be far behind him. If people are worried about not getting enough coverage or the media getting bored, a mass demonstration inside SJP to a Worldwide audience would certainly get people taking notice. I know what you mean. I think the season where Keegan left put a lot of people off protesting in the ground. One thing that really got me was during the spurs game I was sitting in the family enclosure as I took my son to his first premier league game. A chant went up of stand up if you hate Ashley and other than me and me son I could only see a couple of people around me standing up. You could see people just putting their heads down or thinking I’m not doing that. For me that pissed me right off and just showed me the problems you would have trying to do a mass protest in the ground. I’m sorry to say we now have a mix of fair weather supporters, supporters who are now just going to meet up with their mates (which is what all my friends do now but will be cancelling when Rafa leaves), the ones that genuinely believe everything is ok. A lot of your hardcore supporters that will protest have given up their season tickets in their own protest. I think there should be protests at the ground and the reason I mention outside is those fans that have cancelled their season ticket in protest can be there plus we will always get some radge kids from Elswick joining in
  14. @SportsDirect_CS are tweeting quite often today that needs to be hit more.

  16. I will be going next Wednesday to the open meeting and there are a few things I hope are discussed or things I will raise. We have had a great start to the fight against Ashley on social media and protesting outside Nortumberland street SD but this needs to be ramped up. We can’t just keep protesting outside the Nortumberland street one as Ashley Can take the hit on one store and any media attention will get bored and stop covering it. We need to move on to hitting multiple stores at one time such as Metro Centre, Team Valley and Kingston park as well as Northumberland street. There was a great point made on twitter of hitting flannels when that opens. If we can communicate with supporters in other parts of the country who are willing to protest to also hit their local SD stores at the same time that would be great. We also need to be more reactive. For example, the last protest we had major media outlets that picked up the story but unfortunately due to the weather there wasn’t as many people at the protest. If we were reactive we could have said right, we will do this but then move the main protest to outside the ground near the ticket office as this is under cover and would have had a lot more people going. We just need to be able to think outside the box at short notice. The magpie group need to get the e-mail details of people willing to be at these protests so things can be arranged. The media will get bored so we need to keep coming up with new and big ways to keep the attention on this. People don’t want to protest inside the ground which I understand but surely there isn’t anything wrong with protesting before and after games outside the ground especially when the sky cameras are there.
  17. Just about to say this. This week he and Talksport have changed their attitude. Even SkySports have pundits with a change of attitude. Bishop losing his grip? Ashley on his way out and no longer concerned? Sorry I'm getting confused here The first comment said that Jim White was having a go at Rafa then Stiflers comment alluded to Talksport changing and being against Ashley. What is going on
  18. I will be heading to the meeting. I think Michael Martin mentioned on twitter about Flannels opening in Northumberland street soon and we should arrange a protest outside on the opening day.
  19. I don’t think Ritchie is in the wrong here like. Sounds as if Lascelles has a bit of a ego and believes his own hype and needs a slap. Of course he is young and will probably learn from it.
  20. Because most of the commercial income is being sucked straight into Sports Direct. Exactly spot on
  21. They'll just say it's being postponed rather than cancelled. It'll happen once everything blows over... They have done it before and will wait and hope for a upturn in results. Hopefully this time though there will be no let up.
  22. Unfortunately I’m up Eyemouth so missing this match but good luck to everyone hope the weather doesn’t put people off
  23. Never won’t happen. I remember the game where we beat West Ham to stay up the one with that Ashley interview. All me mates had decided to go out before and after the match. Of course after that match we were bouncing. 2 of me mates have their own business and we’re in hospitality and later on when we were in Please to Meet You they still hadn’t turned up so we rang them but no answer. Then I got a video call from one of them. He was in the St James park bar and he said look who I’ve met then turned his phone to fucking Ashley. One of my other mates with me immediately starting shouting fuck off ya Fat Cunt Unfortunately we could hear them but they couldn’t hear us. I think that was the last time he was at St James. Me mate still wishes he could have fucking nailed the bastard but he had to be all grown up and look after his business Also Carroll was there obviously injured and every goal we scored he jumped up. He was also in the bar mortal probably chasing the white knight.
