Miggys First Goal Posted June 28 Need to build the new ground on the Arena site. Screw whatever plans the council have already agreed to. Just plop a 80,000 seater stadium down there. Will look unreal coming across the Redheugh.

Bizarre to think that when it’s been our history that has kept the fans and club together for the past 14 years of shite, and then the first flicker of the new dawn has some people clamouring for a flat pack industrial estate stadium that can seat 80,000. St James’ is the heart of the city. It makes the match experience what it is. So much so that it’s probably the away fans trip of the season. Extend the Gallowgate. 60,000 plus then fan zones around the city for the big occasions would do me.

Do Villa have threads about all the other clubs, or is it a continuation of their bizarre, unfathomable hatred of us?

WBA fans need to realise he’s a smashing bloke and to give him time. Terrible the shit he’s getting off them, after all he’s kept them in the championship. -

“Look wuhv stopped the rot against a very good team. Wuh need build on this and go again next week. The fans can be a bit hysterical but hey they’re entitled to their opinion. Thu hard work starts agen in training on thursda” -
VAR decent this week.

Also when Wilson is fit you have that confidence of getting goals. I reckon a tight game with hopefully us winning by the odd goal.

Probably why they fancy a draw.

From BBC sport #WBA Steve Bruce: “It’s not in my nature to surrender and go meekly. I know I’m not everybody’s cup of tea, especially the supporters, but given time I still think I can take this club where it wants to be”. And predictably here he goes turning on the fans. Textbook Bruce. -

And it started so positively: Dexy Administrator WBA Manager OFFLINE 11271 Re: Steve Bruce - Manager « Reply #64 on: February 03, 2022, 09:15:42 PM » Provided Bruce has some left in the tank after the Newcastle episode I think we'll be a good fit for each other . Albion79 Reserve Baggie ONLINE 1741 Re: Steve Bruce - Manager « Reply #68 on: February 03, 2022, 10:22:43 PM » It may not be an exciting or interesting appointment that many fans would like (me included) but i think but its a sensible, safe and good appointment. He has a decent track record, Newcastle fans watched them every week and so are entitled to their opinion but they are a deluded bunch amd never wanted him in the first place. -

RS replied to wor jackie's topic in Football
The ground has a disproportionate amount of pensioners and as the Ashley era proved, blokes who say “it’s better than going shopping with the missus”; not conducive to a re hot atmosphere. Saying that the folk who do get behind the team can make a difference, and Wor flags definitely helps -

I predict mass hysteria in the stands soon enough.
