  1. No clue what all these tapa-cunts are tapa-talking about, but the forum is great
  2. Depends on who they are playing really. As a par standard, Man City's football is good to watch as they've so many quality players that enhance their style. Enjoy watching them really when they play against teams that try and go toe-to-toe with them more, meaning City have to lift their performance even more - Shaktar at home, Napoli games, and Spurs games were all fantastic to watch. There is not always that incentive their to lift their football to incredible standards when they can pass the ball around between them, and kill the game off, then just lift in when they get into decent chances.
  3. Can't be the only one that would love to see West Ham drop, so could be decent news if Southampton can have a little lift whilst WH are in a tale spin. Wouldn't mind Palace or Stoke going down with them tbh. WBA, WHU and Stoke would be my ideal three to get fucked No PL game until 31st, away at West Ham. So if board have done it right, and found someone ready to come in quick, they could have decent amount of time to prepare and get that 'manager lift' going. Win in cup against Wigan wouldn't be worst of starts either.
  4. No way Jokanovic leaves play off chasing, on fire, Fulham for Saints with 8 games left, surely? Aye that was my reaction. Wouldn't be worst of appointments, would rather him than Hughes if I was Saints fan. Bound to be offered better deal than what he's on at Fulham (even if they do go up), plus decent bonus if he keeps them up would be a draw. Yeah - you'd deffo take him if you were a Saints fan but he'd be mad to risk it imho. Would break Mitro's heart if he left. Sold a dream, given a lie :'( 8 games is enough time for anyone coming in to turn that around, and keep them up. As things stand their not even in bottom 3, no way cut adrift, and enough teams around there still for them to still be alive. Tough set of fixtures goes against them though, but any manager will back themselves to have an effect. We managed to draw Rafa at same time of the season

  6. Puel's sacking was more political/contractual than actual league performance. Have a few Southampton friends and whilst they always thought the football was boring as hell - especially at home - they we're happy enough with what he was doing there. Texted couple of them, neither want Hughes, Jokanovic from Fulham seems a decent shout
  7. Recon Man City would still be able to beat most teams in the league if they played against 12 men. Pep still not taken the label off his coat either, had it on there in Chelsea game
  8. Will get a leaked video in a couple of weeks with Carra saying he may as well have gobbed right in her face for the outcry
  9. Never brought into him being to total key for Man City that's been sold for the past few years. Decent defender, and seems a real leader and nice guy, but there have been far better actual defenders around, and he has played his part in being fairly shit when City had their bad moments last couple of seasons.
  10. About to pick up on that. There's a beautiful symmetry to a radio station playing the "best of British" flashing up on Stoke's advertising boards. Yet only one English player starting for them
  11. Clearly missing something here, but can anyone explain when/why he was crying before?
  12. Anybody ever think, or worry that Ashley/Charnley will eventually cut ties with Rafa, should he not choose to leave us to go to another club.. Not in the sense that he'll be sacked, as I don't think he'd really ever find himself in a position were this board will sack him, let alone the fans ever hound him out. More the sense that he'll be offered, or pressured into a lower contract - and Rafa will be somewhat forced out, or just leave at the end of a contract...
  13. Man City's most expensive £1330, cheapest £299
  14. Might be just me, but I could enjoy MNF to the same level as previously tonight, next week or whenever with him on it still knowing and viewing what he did. He's apologies to the people that needed to be apologies to. Not going to be so abhorred at seeing his face on my TV that I'd switch off, cancel a subscription or have any less merit for his analyses and views on the game. Anyone who really is needs to take a look at their own outlook on life.
  15. Think we can all agree he's a total idiot for doing what he did, but happen to think it's being blown waaaay out of proportion... Who is actually out there as a member of the public, or Sky subscriber that is so sickened and horrified by this to merit such coverage. Like it's had an actual impact upon those involved, and a select few at Sky put in awkward position, but nobody else in the country. The stuff about him being a role model, and bringing kids and spitting into it is embarrassing. It's only the people going far out of their way to give a s*** about it that are giving this story any time of day. Surely most of us are content with seeing the story, all thinking he's a tit, at most a bit upset for those involved and we move on with our lives.
  16. How is there 13mins to say what happened, ask him if he apologies, and he says yes...
  17. I don't mind Carragher as a pundit tbh. He was s**** when he started off but he's gotten much better. BT have got the better pundits now minus Savage, which is amazing when you look at the utter morons they were wheeling out when they started. Aye, wasn't my car that he got gobbed and do quite like him as pundit, so hoping he doesn't get sacked. If he does Sky will have to fill the air time with someone else from a big club/Liverpool, so best case scenario we'd probably end up with Jamie Redknapp on MNF Which would literallybe terrible. Still wheeling a fair amount of arse clowns are BT. Lineker, Gerrard, Rio and Lampard, (McManananaman at a push) are really carrying the rest imo. Their Soccer Saturday rival show lineup is hideous, barring the bird they have with the ipad
  18. Maybe they could just swap over in pre-season and we can see if the other one is any better Norwich must have clearly sent the shit one anway
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ACcNOlN4rw
  20. Slimani Doubt we'll be bothering with him come the summer, unless he really has impressed Rafa or hits a Cisse like start whenever he does get fit. Hopefully we can move onto bigger/better targets. Starting season with Diame still in midfield, and Murphy as first choice would worry me too.
  21. From the teams looking most likely/gone at the moment - WBA, Southampton/Stoke/Palace - who would people take? WBA - Foster, Evans for me.. Think Rondon's pretty s**** tbh, Not counting Krychowiak, rest of that squad are no better than what we have. Southampton - Happen to think a lot of their players would be quite a bit better than what we have if they we're here under Rafa. So most of their squad really, but Bertrand, Tadic, Lemina, Cedric could all improve us I think Stoke - Shaqiri, Allen, Butland at a push Martins Indi Palace - Zaha, Milovojevic.
  22. Spat at the bloke that may be, but how can anyone defend spitting like that. even spitting at bellends is disgusting. Not defending it; spitting's rank in any circumstances, yet that was somehow still way over-the-top. I'm just pointing out that it's been immediately sensationalised. Agreed on this, disgusting and idiotic from Carra, but hate how the Sun have twisted it even further. Girl wasn't even in shot of the video ffs.. Could have quite easily gone with story of him gobbing at fan, that's shocking enough for a tabloid headline anyway.. Just seems Sun would like to take chance to further twist knife into Liverpool/Carra
  23. Grown man acting like that is embarrassing. Not sure why that would be anyone's reaction to that. Let alone anyone who has spent their whole career in spotlight, and been surely the end of tons of jibes, banter and digs from Everton/Man U fans. Not like he spent his whole career before Sky playing for some provincial club nobody gives a toss about. Even for some odd reason that's his idea of a response, he's surely got to put his brain into gear in the time it's taken his window to roll down and see this isn't going to end well with him being filmed. No problem at him giving them the middle finger, telling them to f*** off, but gobbing at them is vile.
  24. Accepted, but for an attacking player there quite a good barometer. Without in depth analysis, you can judge how much a player effects games by seeing how many goals or assists their getting. On that basis, I'd say it's fair to question whether Zaha should be getting more. It's not as if he isn't going to be getting forward or in advanced positions is it...
