  1. She isn't very good at interviews.
  2. ALL VICTIMS. Going to his Russian mates.
  3. "The top end of the..." MASSIVE PAUSE WHILST HIS BRAIN COMPUTES WHAT HE IS SAYING BUT IT IS TOO LATE "... Premier League..."
  4. He legit started trotting out his old Newcastle excuses. You can pinpoint the moment his brain caught up and had to change course
  5. This is so true. The absolute worst course for WBA now is Bruce getting a run of wins and thus securing a second season. That will just cause Bruce's influence to seep into the club and lead to a longer term decline in standards across every aspect. Right now, he's just battering their short term outlook and they could sack him before the summer with minimal damage.
  6. I'd be amazed. They are clearly more than capable of getting results, and not through effort alone. They've got so much quality that other teams around them do not have. Just got proper hamstrung by injuries, their hate for Benitez and now transitioning to Tory boy.
  7. I'm usually not one to shy away from watching a bad tackle, but I'm really uncomfortable watching replays of this one. Brentford manager acting like it was nothing ffs
  8. Yeah, maybe. I think we've benefited from him being more defensively minded than Digne. But maybe we would've been better off with Digne's passing in the final third cos we really do lack in that area. Fwiw, maybe we sign him as as short to medium term option before going for a European level option in 3 or 4 years. Would be good to have a position locked down with a domestic player.
  9. A few journalists have made snide comments about Schar being furthest forward after the corner, but when you actually pay attention to how it all unfolded it made complete sense. Schar's man had the second ball, so Schar pressed him out wide right. Soon after the ball broke to us and Schar had the foresight to move up the field as an outlet. Y'know, playing on the front foot? Something the PFM brigade value so highly. Surprised they haven't lauded him...
  10. But they've committed to spending on the training ground and stadium as well. And you've gotta invest to make returns. Plus, match day revenue is gonna be essential towards making those returns, so a proper investment and maximisation of capacity is gonna be key.
  11. Pretty sure investment in infrastructure is not included in FFP so we really don't need to worry about that cos our owners will just swallow up that cost.
  12. It is both tbf. We aren't pressing high or playing out from the back with a back 4 of Murphy, Lascelles, Clark and Ritchie.

    Joe Willock

Never heard him speak before. Seems like a proper decent bloke.
  14. Alas, they look way too good to be there for long. At least, now they've got most of their players fit again.
