Chelsea vs. Newcastle United: 28/05/23 @ 16:30 (No UK TV)

Great to wake up today without having to worry about the result. -
Oh I'm with you on that. McTominay would be fantastic in our system. And yet, he'd still piss us all off with his limitations.
-
Burn is underrated. Annoying in some ways, but he's just been a lock in, slightly out of position, in the joint best defensive in the EPL. He fucks me right off, but you can't deny what he brings. I think my overall position on all these points is that the extreme opinions are way off.

I just think that Longstaff has gradually developed into a top CM this season. He has limitations, but he is becoming dominant in some aspects. He'd do a job for Man Utd. And yeah, he'd get similar criticism from their fans, but they'd be as harsh as us.

Dan Burn = John O'Shea Longstaff is just a really good footballer that Man Utd would be lucky to have.
-
Had the issue "for a few months."
-
No. Straight into the group stages.
-
I'd like him to get a start on Sunday. Chance to finish the season on a high.

Howe wants 2 11s. McTominay feels like a good comparable to Longstaff with the added ability to play DCM. He's a unit and will do well in the press. Plus Mourinho raved about his attitude. Gotta count for something. I'm in.

ANNOUNCE OFFICIAL TRACTOR PARTNER.

Up the quality and maintain the culture. We'll be a lock in top 4 club. Not easy, mind.
-
I probably have more faith in him than Gordon.

Been playing with an injury for a while then.

It would be reasonable to rest anyone who has been playing with an injury where there is genuine risk of it worsening and thus taking them out of preseason or even the start of next season. Basically, wondering just how bad that Bruno ankle is. -

In a weird way, the sheer brilliance of last night's display got overshadowed by the ocassion. It was a truly special display. What an incredible bunch of people wor flags are. -
Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)

He looked confident and did a lot right. You could tell he hadn't prepared to start the game. There was very little understanding shown between himself and the other players, outside from a couple of nice give and goes with Isak. Other players definitely didn't trust him to receive passes in tight areas as much as they would Joelinton or Willock. And that is understandable. All that meant we weren't quite as fluid down the left as usual. It was stark when compared to the right wing, where you had 3 players who were practically telepathic in the way they passed and moved. Definitely seen enough to say he has a future at the top level. And as many have said, he just needs lots of game time now. Do think he should've played in the Championship this season. Probably stunted his development. -
He looked imperious yesterday. Easier when your opponents are sitting off in a super low block, but even when things got combative, he just looked in control of the space around him. Actual machine in the inside right space.

Currently sat on my sofa with a coffee flicking through the all 2 minute match highlights on our YouTube channel. Should've left for work already, I've got loads on

Cannot wait to see a fully fit Bruno again. Feels like forever that he's been nursing his injured ankle. Pretty sure we've forgotten just how good he actually is. Hope he takes Chelsea off.
