  1. Manchester fell well behind the elite clubs in terms of non playing personnel and infrastructure towards the end of the SAF era. And have been burning through manager after manager as a result. Ashworth was brought in to properly fix this, but he knew Amorim was a dud and the Ineos suits didn't want to be challenged so binned him.
  2. Ugarte is a horrible, limited cunt.
  3. At this point everyone should just accept that Manchester United are now just another Premier League club.
  4. The investigation into leaking has got off to a strong start by being leaked.
  5. Appalling behaviour from their fans. Entitlement is stunning.
  6. You're in Europe and the Premier League. Be grateful.
  7. Fucking brilliant this. They're finished as a force at the top.
  8. To be fair, he means the "billionaire cunt owner is sacking all the working class folk from the organisation" 2025 trophy.
  9. We should sign Porro and Bergvall as soon as we can.
  10. The Manchester system must be so hard to play in as a midfielder. The structure is all weird.
  11. Biggest problem with these back 5 formations is the space that gets left between the CBs in the box. Strikers and attacking midfielders can just ghost in from the blind side of the widest CB and get the gap.
  12. Honestly think you just look silly and ignorant.
  13. Why bother publishing a score when you saw the goals with your own eyes?
  14. It is because XG is a descriptive metric. The explanation requires further analysis. Man City scoring 4 from 2xg yesterday could be caused by several variables/factors. You need to then consider why and that needs the eye test and other stats.
  15. You can dislike something, express your opinion, and then let others who think it is absolutely fine carry on the discussion. XG is a really helpful metric though.

    Joe Willock

He's got the physical and technical attributes to be a top player, but he has seemingly always struggled with the mental side of the game - for us, I have no idea what he was like at Arsenal. If only we could just take Longstaff's ability to deliver his consistent 7/10 performance every week and marry it up with Willock's footballing ability... Instead we have Willock who ranges from 4/10 to 9/10 with an average of 5s and 6s. It is a real shame cos Willock could be a hell of a player. There are loads of factors which could be at fault for him being unable to deliver consistently high standard performances and it might take him moving to try to find a club that is right for him to realise his potential. He might get lucky and land on a club that is perfect for him. Then we'll all wet the bed ignorantly.
  17. Scoring 4 from 7 shots on target (worth about 2xg) is not normal. Pope back next game please x
