We must be about the same age. He was better than Bramble like but he was average at best for me, we had a good team apart from central defence, Woodgate was class but was mainly injured so it was two from Bramble/OB/Caldwell most of the time, those three are lower half Prem standard, if that.

But our defence was what held us back, Woodgate was trying to play as two CB's most of the time, he either had OB or Bramble next to him fucking things up. And even worse Woody was mainly injured. CB was probably what stopped us winning something.

Think it's got to be Ba on a free like, he is one of our best goalscorers of all time in terms of goals to games, and he did it under Pardew. He was really good.

O'Brien ..dunno how much we signed him for like but he wasn't very good, i did quite like the bloke though, did his best.
