The average wages to turnover ratio in the PL last year was 80%. Extrapolating this means we can expect that the club had running costs of (85 /8) *10 = 106.25m.
250+13-106 = £157m profit!!!! And this is not including other forms of income, or any charge for advertising, SD owning the club branding rights etc.
So where the fuck is the nearly £200m Mike? And that's only one season.

No, I wouldn't. I'd play him instead of Joselu, who has had games for us recently and if he can play wide, I'd start him ahead of Kenedy or Murphy. And if he can play 10, I'd start him ahead of Perez.

As a side note, I went to watch a different club yesterday as a neutral.
Just served to hammer home how broken NUFC is.

The key here is our squad. I don't fully understand who is responsible for recruitment, but our front 6 is beyond awful. If Rafa picked out Murphy, Joselu and Kenedy, then he must shoulder some of the blame, but that may not be the case.
Painfully, I really miss the buy to sell policy. At least it go us some decent players. We now just seem to get the cut price dregs, and it's really hurting us.
But as long as we achieve 17th place, then it's mission accomplished as far as the FCB is concerned.
Until Ashley goes, we're never going to see anything better than the cheapest possible squad scrape survival season after season, and it's pointless.
