The back up keeper may be a better choice unfortunately. His obvious Mackemness contributes to him doing crazy things in his desperation to beat us. -

Hopefully by half time they will be sounding abandon ship klaxons. Can't stand this lot, would love it if they went down. -

Cant wait for this game to get Sunday firmly in the rear view mirror. -
When I was little and people climbed the floodlights. We lost 2-0 at home to Liverpool and were relegated. Happy Days!!

I hope we can put a full strength side out and put this season to bed. We are more than capable of winning here if we play with the same belief we have shown recently. -
He should just submit the video of the non pen and ask them to explain.

Willock, JoeLinton, Shelvey, Fraser and ASM all could be back for this. Pound the Scouse Mackems and we would be effectively safe. -
Captain Steak Bakes (now managing Blackpool/revising history)

Let it go, let it gooooooo....... -
It looks like the only way around all of this is to use SJP for games other than the first team and build somewhere else close by, although that in it's own right would be a challenge I'm sure.
-
Yeah well they knocked it down. Maybe I should have whined more that they were destroying my "heritage"
-
Walking up the steps of the old Gallowgate and standing in front of the scoreboard. Magic, especially for an evening game with the floodlights on.
-
That could easily have happened if we moved to Castle Leazes.
-
Because its a fairly ordinary looking building from 1830. What is that 190 years old. Hardly f***ing Stonehenge.
-
Oh Oh, the woke squad are here. A building constructed in 1831 which is used as student accommodation and flats is "untouchable". Ridiculous
-
1 hour ago, OverThere said: So historically significant that it is full of students. Makes total sense. That has absolutely nothing to do with its heritage significance, also, only about half of it is student accommodation the rest is houses/flats. It was built in 1831 or close to that date, not that old: heritage? It is built in the same style as Grey Street, is that it? When they built Eldon Square shopping center a whole chunk of the city was altered: what is the vast difference here?
-
No. Yes. So historically significant that it is full of students. Makes total sense.
-
Surely Leazes Terrace could be moved brick by brick to a site close by? Is it that historically important?
-
Wow what a turnaround for this fella. I thought he was completely gash as a striker but playing in MF he looks terrific.
-
I could see us going back 5 and defending for our lives in this one. If we get a point I'd be extremely happy. The combination of an away game, them being decent and our injuries make this a difficult game.
-
Why would he be gone? He will want to stay as a squad player and will be a good one to have since he will I imagine be very happy to be still playing for his home town club. We won't suddenly have 2 teams of 'purples'
-
Works hard pressing the opposition, some decent flicks. After he bags one he will be just fine. He's doing what is asked of him.
-
Or more likely we would lose every game 4-0. I hope to never see Schar playing in midfield.
