This is the best start we have had for how long? Over a decade I believe. I remember only ever winning once at Liverpool and that I think was a Bob Lee goal to win it... a long time ago. Wednesday is a free hit and hopefully the bed wetters won't pipe up too much if we lose.

The way we have been setting up both wingers don't cross much, not sure if this inverted winger idea plays to his strengths. In theory the wing backs would be overlapping and providing the crosses but I haven't seen that happening much. So all in all it doesn't suit Wood.

This season could be very interesting. The teams seem more closely matched than before, which would make it much more exciting than the usual bore fest of Man C v Liverpool for the title.

It looks like Tuchel has so many players he has no idea who to keep, loan or sell.

VAR saved us twice yesterday. The refereeing team was terrible. IMO at least VAR stops the excesses of the Man U, Man C and Liverpool bias.

He will be a fantastic player for us. Since we have a squad we should use it and rotate the CHs whenever possible. Against the elite teams it's still Burn and Schar for me until Botman matures.

Very proud. We wanted a team that tried and now we have one and more.

I'm thinking we could make 5-7 position this season with a couple of reinforcements. Our bench looks a bit thin still to sustain that type of performance over a whole season
