The team look insipid and shapeless at times but worryingly I reckon SDFC will scrape survival over the season. Part of me feels Sunderland's plight is a sad reflection on the North East in general and the decline of the football is hand in hand with social deprivation and the rest of the country not giving a fuck about us up here. I've been around some of our young 'uns singing that Hillsborough song on the way to Liverpool, a group of lads singing 'Your Just a town full of p***'s' in the beer garden of that away pub in Bolton just outside the retail park and been with Leeds fans up to allsorts of nasty shite. It's totally unacceptable but this happens in small pockets from most clubs. Daft young lads getting lairy in packs trying to shock and offend. Bellends are everywhere and these days so are camera's and easy access to a worldwide audience.
