There is no hidden reason for this, no back room team of government agents out to put them down at our expense, no sinister plot, There is a malaise about Sunderland, even their fans admit it from time to time on RTG, turning on the team, leaving the stadium early, the clip of their " city " centre, the casual, endemic racism.
