This was great. Shame the longer version wasn’t kept up on YouTube as this version doesn’t quite do it justice. But I think this was arguably our best performance of modern times.

Just to defend our songbook a little bit even though I agree it’s poor. The only places that have a decent one imo are Manchester United and Liverpool. Most clubs just sing generic shite or copy of someone else.

Was that the game where all the abuse Mike Ashley should have received was directed at Ayoze Perez, by the “support the team, not the regime mob”? Most ridiculous thing our fan base has ever done.

Watching on the telly, it seemed as though both sets of fans contributed equally to the atmosphere up until the goal went in. Our lot went quiet, their lot perked up.

Bit worried as there does seem to be a trend of Eddie Howe’s team’s not carrying great form in to the second part of the season if I remember correctly. Hopefully that’s just because at Bournemouth he was operating on a limited budget with players that were playing for him in league one.

Think a creative player would obviously have helped. Just feels a little harsh considering what the club have done since the change in ownership, and the fact we’re ahead of schedule.

Never mind. They were the better team, though we weren’t bad. Still early in our process. Manchester United have the ability to bring in the likes of Casemiro, and players for 100 million. They will be very good in the next few years to come.
