Tinder probably has a lot to do with it. If you want to meet a lass you just go on there nowadays instead of meeting at a bar. In someways it’s a heathy transition. It should mean more sexual encounters are sober and with more clear lines of consent. With fewer women being fondled while inebriated. in other ways not so much as it seems to be increasing the number of people especially men who struggle to find sexual partners or even partners in general. it’s such an odd change for society. when I was 18 there were loads of little towns in the north east that people used to say were a “good night out”. I remember people used to recommend all kinds of places and it was a thing to go different places each week. Darlo, Durham , Newcastle, Whitley Bay, Boro dare I say even Sunderland. My own town was once full of bars, pubs and clubs. By the time I was 20/21 there was a very clear decline. I saw today over the last decde there are 7000 fewer pubs today than a decade ago.

Dutch and Scandinavians usually speak brilliant English tbh. In fact better than a lot of English people. I’ve been to Amsterdam a few times and most speak good English.

So with this huge demand for tickets should this change how we view the protests? Or lack there of? 30-40k people not going to games doesn’t seem as pathetic as originally thought. Not that more couldn’t / shouldn’t still have been done.

This is true. There’s also the likes of myself who did t even try thinking I had no chance. Not to mention what allowing more releaxed ticket allocation rules could do with potentially cheaper prices. I’m not saying it’s not accurate but We need a better way of determining what e actual number is.

Before we talk about an expansion/move, we need to establish exactly how much demand there actually is. I think Neesy made the point that some people would have had multiple browser’s open in the hope of getting tickets so the 30,000 demand might not be quite that.

I’d imagine that lad from Kilmarnock would fit that bill, that Portuguese lad too if we sign him. It seems as though we already have our targets sorted for the first team though. Think we’ll have to wait until all our back room infrastructure is in place before we start bringing in a load of Dan Ashworth “specials”.

I really hope that one happens. He looks to have a lot going for him. Quick, skilful, two footed, determined and diligent. Be mint to see us finally start making those type of signings aswell.
