I hate saying, and i feel dirty even doing so. Under Pardew we also had some good football too, rarely but at least we had a few. Under Bruce.....one maybe. Not sure I agree. There were some good goals, but that’s not the same as playing good football. Thought we were fairly conservative. The Swason before under when Pardew took over but didn’t try and change too much, we played the more attacking football.

Or just about anyone of our other games.

How can former professionals at the highest level know so little about football.

Schteve for me but I thought he was a decent bloke. Then Pardew. Bruce would be somewhere in the middle for me between the managers we’ve had in the premier league years, but that says more about the level of managers we’ve had.

Disagree with what has been said about Ferdinand. Definitely up there for me. Would be even better suited to modem football imo, and a fair bit better than Woodgate.

Real Madrid imo are bigger but not by much five of those champions leagues are a bit dodgy aswell Franco etc. I’d like to see how Real Madrid would be if they were owned by the Glazers You agree stoke are a bigger club than us? Via what metric? No. I agree with the rest though. That we are all hypocrites? Expand on that? Our fanbase pretty much invented the “ trophies don’t make you a big club”, argument so to then use it as an argument is a little bit hypocritical.

Don’t disagree although They were helped by some not great decisions in one of those finals, admittedly hard to say if it’s corruption. Still though Franco had a say in putting those teams together for example not allowing Puskad to sign for Barca

Had a shot conversion rate of 33%, Messi by comparison who was arguably at his absolute peak was only 20%. He scored arguably the best goal I’ve seen from a header for Senegal too which went largely unnoticed
