Another big worry. bringing in players who already have a poor injury record to come in to a high intensity team. I know we intend to keep the ball more, but I still imagine we’ll be a team that works hard.

Generally when we are linked with someone even if I don’t think personally it’s a good move, I give the club the benefit of the doubt. This is probably the first time since the takeover I don’t think I can do that. I’m starting to wonder if we lack imagination. A lot (not all) of our targets seem to be English, or Premier league. I get the idea that over a summer tournament, trying to cantenaccio your way through the tournament has its benefits but usually that means you need to be able to keep a clean sheet.
