I think Mimms is the only one who thinks theres a chance of it being sorted before then. Based on what he’s said, the people involved, the pressure on the PL etc I think a takeover is a possibility in December or in January. We seen miles away at the moment Based on what? The thing is we don’t know. But with buyers + Ashley + lawyers involved there’s a possibility something could be around the corner. Based on caulkin who talks to the buying side mainly. Fair enough. I think George Caulkin is cautious in what he says this time though.

Almost four weeks since this post. After what’s been reported in the last few weeks and days it looks like things are progressing to some kind of compromise/decision.

I don't think it's necessary anymore. Why’s it not? I'm just hypothesising. From what I heard he was due on a PR warpath this week if things remained the same. I doubt that. Steve Nickson has scouted him since 2014. Emil Krafth has said he knew about the club’s interest and that they have been scouting him for the last 2-3 years. It is a Nickson signing. Nickson highly recomended him to Steve Bruce (who then convinced Lee Charnley to spend some extra millions on him).
