Where did Caulkin say that? Mirror making it sound like it’s all wind and p*ss again Check his tweets and answers on Twitter.
-
The Mirror: ”Ashley insists that a non returnable bond of £250,000 is paid to him before any due diligence on the club takes place from an interested party. So far that has not been forthcoming from the Saudi Arabian Investment Fund who will be backing any offer from Bin Salman and his partners.” George Caulkin just confirmed a fee of 250k was paid weeks/months ago.

Just seen the match ratings from Lee Ryder ...Yedlin 7, Ritchie 8, ASM 8, Fernandez 8, Almiron 7, Clark 8 and Dubravka 9. And no we didn’t won 3-0 over Tottenham.
-
I’ve just seen the press conference with Steve Bruce. Was asked about the takeover. As I see it... he means Lee Charnley hasn’t informed him that the takeover is done. Also ”nothing in it” = nothing to report yet. Of course something is happening. If it’s ”nothing in the takeover” why should it unsettle the squad then?

Everytime we bid for a player the press finds out. But this time when we have a bid of £40m accepted for a player no one knows This transfer bid never happened.
-
Chill. What more is it to report?
-
Eh? Where's the confirmation they're involved come from? Kennedy hasn't even gone with "sources close to the deal" or whatever to try and give at least some credibility That Man United fan from Pakistan who is BZG's lawyer is also Dave Reuben's accountant. He confirmed in a tweet direct to Miles Starforth. Where?
-
Simon Chadwick knows nothing. I think it’s very clear the people from Saudi Arabia are involved in this deal.
-
I trust George Caulkin and he says price etc is agreed just some minor details left and it’s up to Ashley now. Amanda Staveley front figure but the Reuben brothers also heavily involved. No side happy about the leak.
-
Due diligence completed according to Mark Douglas.
-
I strongly suspect he arranged the leak.......take the money and run you odious slug Somehow I think Mehrdad Ghodoussi has something to do with the leak. Just a feeling. Seems to have contacts at US papers.
-
We've already had a Facebook messenger screenshot from Staveley's bloke, I reckon that will be the WhatsApp of this saga. What?
-
As opposed to Ashley of course? Amazing journalism from Lee Ryder that.
-
Looks like James Reuben has been talking? Got friends at the Financial Times it seems. Set for an executive role at NUFC according to the papers. Also, his friend at QPR Amit Bhatia commented on an article about the Reuben brothers buying NUFC but deleted it. James Reuben also just started to follow NUFC on Twitter...

No. We don’t need to hear about any submitted offers. In the due diligence they agree of the ”Heads of Terms” - includes details on the identified buyers and sellers, the purchase price etc. They don’t need to submit any offer at this stage, but they know the purchase price. In the next stage - The Sales Purchase Agreement - is where you buy the club. The “actual agreement that transfers the shares of the seller to the buyer”. Can take months.

Can’t find this story anywhere.
-
No words from George Caulkin (as expected maybe) but he predicted (May 2018) Amanda Staveley would come back with another bid for the club.
-
The most interesting part of it is that one of they guys who broke the story is currently writing a book about Mohammed bin Salman. If true, the leak is probably from Saudi Arabia.

About the proposed takeover being leaked:
-
Bruce ability not to make tactical adjustments during games are chocking. Bernard and Kean sitting between our central midfield and centre backs just waiting for the ball. Sean and Matt both pressing high up the pitch.
-
This game will see goals. We are pressing very high up the pitch.
-
I think his problems is with the club, not the manager(s), for failing to attend German lessons.
-
I think signing Nabil Bentaleb on loan is a steal. Will easily become the best central midfielder at the club if he joins. Good in both defence and attack, tall, competitive, an eye for a pass and can tackle. Scored three goals in the Champions League last season. I’m not a fan of Steve Bruce but I think he will handle him really well. Also, don’t think this so called ”attitude problem” is something to worry about.
-
”They don't want me to train with the first-team squad or to be associated with the squad in any way.” Think he will do well here.
-
Better today. But to many touches on the ball everytime he gets it. Is acting as a target man in every situation. I would like him to ’pass and move’ more.
