  1. He's fucking genius this fella: https://www.themag.co.uk/2019/09/steve-bruce-says-he-has-identified-the-big-problem-at-newcastle-united-under-rafa-benitez/
  2. They'll be doing what they always do. None the general ex-players/managers/staff/media/etc seem to get the obvious point that regardless of whether Bruce is a Geordie or a 'nice bloke' he agreed to work for Mike Ashley, he took Ashley's shilling so in essence has become part of the overall problem. Everything he does is an endorsement of Ashley's regime and in the unlikely event that he achieves anything it will be tainted by the scum at the top. Bruce is either exceptionally naive or incredibly stupid if he really believes that people weren't going to see him as an Ashley yes man.

  4. He has the tactical brain of a cabbage
  5. Presumably enough people will have forgotten about the protest and probably all ill-feeling towards Ashley since he's so clearly backed Bruce and peaked enough interest with the new signings? Am I imagining that's it's all gone really quiet? I bet any money it'll all fall flat at the weekend and nothing will come of it, already the media seem to have forgotten that Rafa was even at our club, let alone a handful of fans not being happy about him leaving. Gawd bless Fat Mike and his unappreciated generosity to us ungrateful Toon fans...
  6. I can't help wondering if Ashley is actually as thick as pig shit. Just because he's been fortunate enough to have been in the right place at the right time when he made his first money doesn't mean he has any brains to speak of. I reckon he's just surrounded himself with the right people to protect his original wealth then bullied his way through vulnerable deals since then, adding to his estate. It's either that or he genuinely doesn't give a fuck what he says or does because he knows he's essentially untouchable.
  7. Exactly, I can only put it down to some media outlets either knowing it'll get the backs up of Toon fans and using it as clickbait or the journos involved are genuinely incredibly lazy! The mind boggles at how ridiculously naive the fucking tools are!
  8. Jesus f*cking Christ on a bike... I'm at a loss that there are still people like this.
  9. What is it with Bruce managing rival teams? Birmingham/Villa, Sheffield Utd/Sheffield Weds, Newcastle/Sunderland... he's a strange bloke. I don't see why anyone would get behind this guy, knowing that he's taken Ashley's shilling, knowing Ashley's disdain for the fans of NUFC and the people of Newcastle, knowing how Ashley's treated previous managers. What a douche.
  10. Is this a joke? Christ on a bike... If he was that much of a fan, if he cared for the club he wouldn't work for Ashley.
  11. Meh, f*ck this club, why bother. ... I bet there's still some muppets who'll spout their usual "support the team, not the regime" guff.
  12. The way I see it is any manager accepting the position to work at our club under Ashley is part of the problem. Bruce may or may not be a 'nice' bloke / Geordie / NUFC fan, etc but if he's agreed to work for Ashley then he's a c*nt because if he really loved the club he'd want Ashley out and wouldn't entertain the fat cretin. The same way that anyone continuing to go to matches is part of the problem, the same way that the local journos are part of the problem. I'm now at the point where people are either with me or they're against me, I have a truly black and white view of the situation and until our vile, parasitic scumbag of an owner it gone, by means fair or foul I can't bring myself to bother with the club - the only thing holding my interest is the marginal hope that the current takeover eventually goes through, but my faith in that is quickly diminishing, regardless of my thoughts on whether this is part of Ashley's scorched earth policy of leaving the club.
  13. I'm still of the mind (as I've always been) that if Fatty ever seriously leaves he'll go with a scorched earth policy. If that means losing the best manager we've had in a long time, selling off players and ruining the last transfer window available under him then I guess that could be where we currently find ourselves. Of course, things being as they are could just be yet another chapter in Fatty's god awful running of the club.
  14. What would happen if the fans just had a massive sit-in in the middle of the pitch at the next home game? Essentially stopping the game from happening? What does the FA do in that situation?
  15. You know what's happening today at the Toon? F*ck all. Not a f*cking carrot.
  16. What if the incoming owners didn't want Rafa but also didn't want to start on the wrong foot with the fans, would it be conceivable that they get Ashley to do the dirty work as part of a deal? I mean it's not like Ashley could be hated any more than he already is. ... or, what if Ashley is going for a scorched earth policy and trying to cause as much heartache and grief for the fans in some sort of sick 'last laugh' on his part before selling up? ... or maybe, just maybe, fuck all's going to happen again.
  17. I'm past caring about his or his family's wellbeing to be honest, he clearly doesn't have any morals about us so why should we about him? The bloke deserves far worse than he's likely to get any time soon, he could sell up any time he wants and still make a profit on his original investment but he chooses not to, he's in the position he's in through his own volition.
  18. I'm fine with that, I'm of the stage now where I'm okay with people affecting his private life, he's been bringing misery to a whole region for over a decade now and has no qualms about doing so. Nothing else has worked in getting rid of the fat parasite, a few blokes outside his house making a racket is fairly tame to what a lot of people would probably like to do if they thought they could get away with it!
