Been a lot of this today

Been watching the whole match - hitting posts doesn't mean a thing, just that their strikers aren't as clinical as some depressives would have everyone believe. Our run's caught up on us a bit, fair, but Villa's not outclassed us by any means. They've had massive help from a homer of a ref, we've been given nothing, they've been sneaky and got rewards for it. Hey ho, we've been done today, we've not embarrassed ourselves though.

I disagree with this

We've not been as bad as the scoreline appears, Villa's been very lucky and had loads of help from a ref who ignores any fouls they've committed. Just one of those days.

Seems to be more and more pneumonia and sepsis hitting younger people these days, regardless of working activity, fitness or anything else. My mother-in-law passed away from pneumonia at 72 last year out of the blue, she was reasonably average in terms of health, nothing untoward, hope Eddie gets well soon and the hospital treats it properly.

Hopefully, that's such a kick in the nuts to the pretender bastards, along with injuries to Alexander-Arnold and Konate, that it negatively affects them massively for Sunday's match. It's funny, they always go on about everyone hating them, but they bring it on themselves, every time.

Amazing that in one game a referee can influence the outcome of our entire season - going from still being in two cups and chasing Europe, to ending one cup run, sabotaging the final of another and also weakening our squad for the league run-in, all with some wank officiating. Do I blame Gordon? A little, but nowhere near as much as the ref in today's match. I know the FA think the sun shines out of his arse, but personally, I thought he was shit today.

My impression was that it looked worse (as in a push to the head), not because Gordon actually aimed at pushing the guy's head, but because the guy dipped just as Gordon was pushing him, which then looked more like Gordon was going for the head. I think it was a push, sure, but not deliberately aimed at the guy's head.
