Ivan Toney scoring a brace for Peterborough Utd again this evening, top scorer in league one, the lad's doing really well.

Would be preferable at this point!

I don't post here that often but damn Stiffy, that gave me a semi!

Like every match under Fat Mike's reign

I wouldn't let him in my house, might meet him down the road at a curry house but that's about as close as I'd let him get

The problem I have is that I no longer enjoy football like I want to. I've stopped being bothered about our team's results, I feel nothing towards them anymore other than sadness that I can't get excited about them. Football as a sport has been ruined for me because it's not something that you can just turn off and support a different team, there's always that tie at the back of my mind to Newcastle United which unfortunately is also tied to a scumbag who's ownership taints everything and prevents enjoyment. Until Mike Ashley goes I'm in football limbo and it breaks the heart.

I f*cking hate Mike Ashley

Everybody does mate, it's the hope that kills and even the most adamant must still get just a glimmer, even if they try and subdue it.

While the Mirror claiming the Saudis actually want Man Utd instead, what a surprise... https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/prince-mohammed-bin-salman-still-21410710

Why do the media make more of the Saudis humanitarian record when they're buying us but all the clubs that are owned by the Russians or the Chinese get hardly any bother at all? They're worse than the Saudi in the humanitarian world rankings... not by much, but certainly worse none-the-less.

So, IF a takeover happened and Staveley was involved, would there be any chance of a return for Rafa? Or do we think they'd make a complete clean break and bring in someone new? Surely they wouldn't keep Mrs Doubtfire? ... in my head I know this is 99% a moot point due to the usual fakery of any takeover news but I'm just passing the time.

Cos he's a real Geordie ya knaaa! The fucking chewed toffee faced cabbage banger.
-
I care little for the politics, I want Ashley gone and a competitive club back so I can enjoy my football again and actually feel some emotion towards our results.

And back to the more important part of the match: https://gfycat.com/valuablediscretefox Oof!

The Rochdale fightback starts now

The 'fans' of this club absolutely kill me...

Andy Carroll (now managing Dagenham & Redbridge)

It's almost like we're the only club he's ever wanted to play for so he does his utmost to play. -
No way is Ashley selling up any time soon, he's able to leech too much out of the club for free. We'd have to go down to League One before I think he'd even consider it and to be honest I think he'd still rather opt for a scorched Earth policy and destroy the club than sell it on and not get a profit on the amount he forked out originally. I actually believe he relishes causing people pain and suffering, it probably makes him think he's superior in some way.
-
Bruce is growing on me to be honest, he's doing exactly what I hoped would happen and not letting me down. To think Ashley spunked £4m on him makes it all the sweeter and makes Ashley look all the more incompetent as a club owner. With any luck we'll continue to burn and sink through the leagues until the club and it's assets are worth fuck all - I can't support another team while NUFC exists and Ashley will never let go of it while he thinks there's any chance of getting money from it, I'd rather it died off and Ashley lost his investment than continue with this undead existence.
-
Bringing in Joe Kinnear to act as Bruce's assistant, to steady the ship...
-
But he's a proper manager man, a nice bloke and a Geordie, to boot!
-
They don't want to see it, they just think Geordies are a bunch of deluded halfwits with ideas above their station.

Probably took them off a list Rafa left laying around for potential left sided back-ups.
