Going on like it’s the greatest goal in the work when it’s a lucky as fuck deflection.

He's the most "camera aware" manager in the game. Mourinho was bad, but Klopp is next level.

He isn’t man. Ffs. It’s literally been repeated over and over. The govt have completely stripped him of it.

"The government said" is kind of my issue with it to be honest.

Manchester United is delighted to announce the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as interim manager until the end of the season, subject to work visa requirements.

Following this period, Ralf and the club have agreed that he will continue in a consultancy role for a further two years.

John Murtough, Manchester United football director, said: “Ralf is one of the most respected coaches and innovators in European football. He was our number one candidate for interim manager, reflecting the invaluable leadership and technical skills he will bring from almost four decades of experience in management and coaching.

“Everyone at the club is looking forward to working with him during the season ahead, and then for a further two years in his advisory role.”

Getting a half decent manager will do wonders for Man Utd. They've not had one in a good few years.

I'm far from convinced that the next guy is that.

He was quite easily the best midfielder in the league for 12-18 months.

That joke of a player still has world class numbers this season and has created the most chances in the league of any midfielder

He is and always has been a whinging cunt though.

Pretty sure you made the claim this season like. As ludicrous then as it is now.

Bruno's numbers, Ronaldo's numbers. So long as you ignore the league table numbers and team numbers. Sums up what the problem at Man United is.

What happened? Did Bruce do a tactic or was he just up against a side that finished below a team that had given them a 21 point headstart?

I'm sure he'll say something along the lines of the players having listened to him in training this week.

It's an incredibly childish reaction like.

    "Good turnout lads, decent effort."

"Well ours would have been better."

    Mag behaviour.

It hasn’t been clarified. They are just dealing with it internally, how it should be. Also, nobody has created a narrative around him. People are judging him on his performances. Not everybody creams their keks at the 15 stepovers v palace and prefer to look for something that’s actually productive, which he isn’t showing currently. Find it really strange when some fans take it so personally if anyone has a bad word against him. Really weird.

Eh? He's clarified that it's all been taken out of context in terms of the full interview, he voluntarily sought out the manager, and furthermore Howe has confirmed that he believes him and he's not being fined or anything like that.

Which one of these players were they saying is worth £30m?

Dan Neil. The one who can't get in their side.

  10. Guessing the overtime that's been available at Nissan all season and has been crippling their attendances isn't available tonight then? ???

  11. To read RTG you'd think the whole of Newcastle had taken the day off to prepare for tonight's game. Other than a bit of piss taking on here really can't say I've seen much about it from our fans.

I’m absolutely shocked after those quotes came out and pages of people were after selling the lazy French so and so aren’t now in here backtracking after the story was clarified. Does that not fit the narrative some of you chaps have created around this guy then? [emoji38]

Absolutely knew @Cronkywould be all over this. Making extra shit up without any justification.

McManaman trying to come to terms with the prospect of Liverpool not progressing. Funny stuff.

If Villerreal win the CL it would probably be my favourite thing to ever happen in the competition.

I know everyone thinks everyone is biased towards another team, but the Liverpool / BT love in doesn't even get hidden any more.

My favourite line in that post:

”Who was the last current SAFC player who had a dig at the Mags?”

Oh aye, that’s never happened, has it? Quick… re-write history!

    Stewart Donald:

“Sunderland are much bigger than Newcastle down south so nobody down here talks or knows much about them…’

    Charlie Methven:

”for some reason I’ve always had an antipathy towards Newcastle.

“I mean that wasn’t a determining factor in this, but it does mean I’ve always had a slight soft spot for Sunderland because I’ve always found Newcastle to be a rather arrogant club.

“They seem to think that they’re special, and they don’t understand that every club is special.

“From an outsider’s perspective I feel that from the North East clubs, at Sunderland and Middlesbrough there’s much mutual appreciation from other clubs, but at Newcastle there’s little appreciation for or from other clubs.”

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sunderland-director-charlie-methven-dig-15107063.amp

"Conversely, whether it be a previous SAFC manager declaring in August that his team were relegation candidates, or the manager of a neighbouring club putting 11 men behind the ball at home and conceding 80 per cent possession, if a leader’s body language is negative then the battle is already lost."
