It's been a remarkable turnaround, considering the clarts we were in when he first took over - despite a few bumps in the road.

    Top man

He's worked wonders with players who were constantly told they weren't good enough by the media and the previous management team.

How our win was met among the nonce-approvers:

“Means nowt of course. Just a smokescreen for murder and terror. They will have a team photo to mask the smell of death“

Fuming at how lucky we were to get an injury time winner. Isn't that three games in a row they've done the exact same thing? [emoji38]

Funnily enough, Gayle's movement in the box drags the defenders to the near post creating the space for Bruno to score the winner.

Wood's movement, or lack of, would be unlikely to do the same.

Yes mate. Let's engineer a way to have a pop at Chris Wood from a 95th minute winner.

The absolute state of some of our "supporters" on here.

Probably the most improved player under Howe.

One of the best things about Howe is that he's got something out of players who looked to be either totally out of the picture or nowhere near good enough. Joelinton, Schar, Krafth, Shelvey, even Almiron since he came back in.

They have stopped taking money now and are in the process of looking at charities to dish it out too. I believe that members will get to vote before a final decision on charities is made

Three months yesterday since the membership vote closed on the future of this and the decision was made to distribute the funds to charity.

It doesn't help that they caved on the five sub stuff

Complaining that the fixture schedule is disadvantaging Liverpool, but then saying the fact City are travelling back from Madrid before their game with Liverpool this weekend (who were at home to be benfica) doesn't give his side any advantage. [emoji38]

So use your eyes instead. They'll tell you the same thing. A massive underdog in the tie rattled the tournament favourites and could have equalised with the last kick

    But didn't. Night.

So no team can ever lose a game in which they were the better team?

    Who said that?

Using xG as some sort of argument on nights like tonight just makes people look daft.

City were massive favourites to qualify but Atletico were in it until the last kick and had more xG in this leg.

So who have they got in the xG semi final? You never said?

Nah, they have absolutely no chance if they try to outscore City over two legs. Atletico are good but City are just on another level. Simeone got his tactics 100% right

    100%

Who they playing in the next round then?

The footage of Savic yanking Grealish's hair as the camera pulls away is just brilliant.

"Host broadcaster" vibes all over them hurriedly cutting away before anyone noticed.

Mackem Kevin Costner embarrassing himself again, eh?

Only the other day he was suggesting everyone was racist to a certain degree and racism was logical.  Then yesterday he was offering his horseshit opinions on Gazza.

Against the backdrop of them claiming we're turning a blind eye to this, that and the other too.
