Given they spent 23k in their 21/22 financial year with no real explanation and then took c3k admin fees from the pledged money (although it was supposed to be ONLY used for purposes intended buy club or charitable donations). They may have inadvertently created a cash flow issue for themselves. Reality is we’ll never know unless they start to be transparent.

    Where is that from?

Such a huge match for Everton tomorrow. Chelsea are obviously a better team with the superior players, but at the same time, it kind of feels winnable. Just delighted we have enough points on the board, and can look on as relative neutrals, because it does look like 37/38 might not be enough, and pretty much every man and their dog were saying 36 points would be fine 14 days ago.

4 points for Burnley should be enough for them.

He's been right about most things so far, but because it's bad news RTG rounded on him.  Preferring the fairytale spouted by their "expert" instead.

    ........ and the North Sea

Nightmare when the Holy Island tide is in and the "Lindisfarne Branch" can't get over marra. Usually bring 6,000.

  5. Am I missing something here? He's saying that that owners are now owed over £2m by the club, but didn't the owners previously write off something like £25m that they borrowed from the club when they bought it? And he's presenting it as a good thing?

He's already put an analysis up and they're lapping it up.

Started his own new thread about it too. Loves the attention.

Best 2 teams on the planet (probably) back to back. Even a point from either of them would be ridiculously good but the good thing is there's zero pressure on either game, the whole world is expecting 2 wins for Liverpool and City. absolutely nothing to lose, get in their faces and give them both a game as best we can.

We are one of the best teams on the planet at the moment. ;)

If goals were about a foot wider he’d be a £50m player.

Seriously though, he’s average but can’t help but like him. Like Burn he’s living the dream at the moment.

I don't rate him, but he did well yesterday. They all did.

Not sure it counts a press but my goodness the lack of self awareness of how much Man U have spent and the pure fear we’re now instilling in people is amazing.

Had to go and look him up to find out who he is. Do twitter genuinely give out blue ticks to football youtube channel people these days? Don't tell Adam Pearson

Phil McNulty is the BBC’s chief football writer and yet he never writes anything remotely insightful or interesting. He barely ever takes a proper stance and only really does when there’s a strong consensus of opinion, what’s the point of him?

He's still better than that Simon Stone who seems to write pro Man United pieces no matter how bad they are.

Read the conversation between him and that Liverpool fan /journo Tariq Panja

Tariq is just a shit stirrer. Sky completely take the context of the conversation by posting twelve words of an answer and Tariq turns it into something else.

Very unedifying. Preferred it when he was brown nosing Bruce and slagging off our fans. This is just sad.

He writes what keeps him his contacts at the club. Previously it was pro Bruce, now it's pro the club and the owners.

Down to 13th, two teams behind him have a game in hand.

I'd like 14th. A nice round, easy to remember 10 place drop since he arrived.

Going through a close season knowing you're sticking with the bloke who did that is a little taste of how we felt.

They need massive change over the summer according to him today. In terms of players obviously. The management and coaching staff are absolutely fine.

Also this quote : ""I joined the club three months ago and unfortunately we haven’t been able to buck the trend of results."

    Plummeted down the table
