Don't really watch anymore, which is probably obvious by my complete absence in this section but I'm happy for everyone here. You all deserve this, it's been way too long since we've had ownership that actually wants to win.

Not watched a game in probably like 3 years and haven't seen this game either but just thought I'd read peoples comments. I don't think comparing his on ball ability to ASM and Almiron is particularly fair. They are a winger and a attacking Midfielder respectively. If a striker had their ball skills he'd be worth like 70m easy.

As you point out, i severely doubt Koeman has much to do with this decision. I'm just surprised it didn't come sooner, they've rested on their laurels because they had the best player in the world. Eventually he was going to come to the conclusion enough is enough.

Pochettino's style of football being vastly superior is a bit of a myth tbh. The man played two DMs and a back 5 quite often, his teams pressed quite aggressively but more did so as a defensive tactic. Not to say he's defensive or anything but he's a lot more pragmatic than his reputation suggests imo.

If you find joy in listening to fake reports then go ahead and do you. It's not my place to criticize that.

Listening to transfer rumours outside of the transfer window is maddening enough but listening to transfer rumours while the world is on lockdown AND the takeover isn't even complete is positively insane.

It's a shame this has happened at a time where I've completely fallen out of love with the game in general. I'm happy for everyone here though, it's way fucking overdue.

They had no choice with the Euros really, a tournament taking place in multiple countries would have likely been a complete and utter disaster.
