I was just thinking while watching the post-match interview with Eddie how he answers like in those Fifa press conferences, or in like Disco Elysium where there's a perfect answer from a selection of 10. He nails every answer every time like.

And it's over literally 1 point as well, not 3. All this over 1 point. They all seem to be sidestepping that, presumably because they can't handle the fact that their best 'chance' was Martinelli's tame shot straight at Pope.

The level of hysteria is well above and beyond probably anything I've ever seen in relation to the reality of what they're complaining about like. It's above what we had from Liverpool after the Spurs match and they had a legitimate grievance over an objectively wrong decision that VAR then fucked up. This lot are going on like what happened in our match wasn't just not subjective, but was as objective as in that Liverpool match, they're off their tits.

I'm presuming they mean the team rather than the fanbase, but even then it's just an insane lack of self-awareness like.
