  1. 44 with Romero to play. Not bad considering I captained Haaland. Seems like everyone scored low this week.
  2. A draw against Luton for a team like Liverpool is still a shite result like. Nunez missed an open goal from a yard out as well. Great weekend of results for us.
  3. 8 minutes We had that yesterday with a 4 minute VAR check in the mix
  4. Why is that bum always dynamite against us ffs
  5. Just been looking at Villa's fixtures. It's been quite kind so far this season like. Their December and April look tougher.
  6. Sometimes you just have to sit back and say hey, what a weekend of Barclay's Premier League football action.
  7. Martinez obviously isn't the best goalkeeper in the world, but I can't begrudge him getting the award solely for what was honestly one of the most important saves and performances of all time.
  8. I really don't think more incidents are debated, but I do think there are fewer incidents that are debated with much more intensity, largely because absolute clangers, like the Liverpool offside, are 10 times worse when officials have had the chance to check and still either get it wrong or miscommunicate the right decision. With Arsenal and Arteta's reaction yesterday, I really do think that was a special case of a childish prat going completely over the top about a decision that was contentious but wasn't particularly controversial and (time taken aside) was done how we've all asked for it to be done. The only thing that was embarrassing and disgraceful was Arteta's behaviour. Pre-VAR he would have still whinged on because that's who he is, the only difference imo would be that he'd use to as his peeve project for why we need to bring in VAR. It's easy to forget as well that the likes of Sky will deliberately exaggerate these things to drive engagement as well. I agree with your last point though, and I think the automatic offside system is the next thing that needs to come in and would minimise one of the biggest problems we have.
  9. The continued debates post-VAR does make the 'so then what's the point in VAR then?' point stronger, but VAR's existence is because this flat out didn't happen like. The debates raged on like they do now, only with the extra clamouring for VAR.
  10. Our rolling 38 game points total is rarely that low under Howe tbf. We're on 73 at the moment and that's about our average. We've had a really tough start, so to be 5 points better off than last season is really impressive in the circumstances and I think we've got a really good chance of being right up there by the end of December. It's also likely that 5th gets Champions League football this season.
  11. I'll not do the full break down, but we're 5 points up on this point last season. It's from game 12 that we really pushed on last season though so it'll be interesting to see where we are by the end of December.
  12. Dunno how it works at Newcastle but if the All or Nothing documentaries are anything to go by, they'll have been warned of the risks and the Howe and Murphy will have made the decision
  13. Is your barcode top an original or a DHGate special? @Heron Been trying to get one for ages

There's always salty fans but I've seen some insane shit after this. Someone telling someone they hope their dog dies ffs, just revolting
  15. That West Ham miss at 2-1 pisses me off and I don't even support them
  16. Incredible. Can't stand him, probably the most boring footballer out there.
  17. Tough game for him. Gabriel and Saliba are two of the few defenders who are up for the battle and dominate him.
  18. Incredible how well we're doing considering our injuries like.
  19. Really hope Burn's okay, but I'm not shitting the bed if the alternative is Livramento RB and Trippier LB.
