Nah, not true at all. I saw how this started and he wouldn't even be known as a Tory cunt on here if the views he held weren't already known, we'd all be guessing otherwise wouldn't we? I know many don't, because they either don't connect the dots or don't care once they have. At this point you'd have to be living on Mars if you're still in the former camp though.

It's not a 'resentment for anyone who has a different viewpoint' though? It regularly gets diluted into that being the issue, as if it's like it's a disagreement about whether pineapple belongs on pizza or something. We're talking about a different viewpoint that at its most basic level includes things like: only certain people within society should have rights, the placement of people within society is due to a natural law ...and because of the above certain people suffering is a non-intervensionist issue unless it's to exaccerbate it. If this were solely a theory it would be a completely different matter to the real-life objection to Tories where the above is being put into practice and people are knowingly and often deliberately being left to suffer. I get that it's easy to think of these things as philosophical differences, but when they're in power and can see the effects they're not. As a result, if you're someone who believes in the above and can see its effects, I'm well within my rights to think that you're a cruel, heartless cunt. As I put in my post earlier, far too many are played by the paradox of intolerance. Right wing values by definition are intolerant. Ignoring that is the ridiculous part. If Lampard was just a Tory in the respect that he voted or held a belief system consistent with his economic class, that would be fair enough and it wouldn't remotely surprise me. The fact he's in the Sol Campbell and Karl Henry category of being outspoken about his admiration for Tory politics, at one point being lines up for a seat in Kensington, and seemingly having ambitions within the Tory Party, I'm very comfortable with putting him squarely in the Tory cunt category.

Yeah, I can't imagine why hating the Tories has become a thing over the last 10 years like. I get what you're saying about being 'bigoted' towards the Tories and that how you might think that that in itself is 'Tory-like' behaviour like, but what you're talking about here is the paradox of tolerance - where the argument goes that anyone who themselves doesn't tolerate the intolerant is themselves intolerant, a hypocrite, and the one that's in the wrong, so the right thing to do is to allow intolerant people with intolerant views to take centre stage. It's an argument as old as the hills, and just one of the ways that the intolerant dig their heels in, gain ground, and the hate, lack of understanding and lack of common ground that you're talking about gets worse. All while they'll have you and everyone making this argument believe that we should all be friends, that it's healthy for us to disagree, and that we can debate our way to some kind of common ground through arguments made in good faith. Biggest political con job going. The people who lent their vote to the Tories in 2019 to get Brexit are another matter entirely, but this idea on the left or centre that standard Tories will ever be open to the right arguments being made or reaching any common ground is naive, historically the centre and the left only ever slides towards them, never the other way around. They're not people to negotiate with.

Now there's a player who's good enough to make you overlook how much of a cunt he is. Sign him up.

Co-commentary is a specialised skill like. I think Carra and Neville are good pundits, and Shearer's fine too, but all of them are awful on co-commentary because they're too eager to analyse things on the fly which is usually alright but often distracting and can wait I reckon. Much prefer just having someone likeable and emotive when it's in the moment. McCoist is probably my favourite because he ticks both those boxes well.

It's certainly all set up for the unexpected at the top and bottom like. Hard to see beyond Man City as champions and Leeds going down, but hopefully there'll be some twists and turns
-
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed that
-
Soft compared to Thiago's yesterday tbh. Still a red like, daft from Rondon
-
They're easily the best of the teams that have been tarnished with the hoofball label. In their first season they played some really nice stuff, since Dyche left they've been an alright watch as well, easily better to watch and more organised than Leeds and Everton.

The lower we finish the better in terms of the fans having a realistic gauge for where we are and the task at hand imo.
-
I've said it before but Burnley really aren't that bad you know. At least not bad all the time. I think their reputation precedes them a bit
-
My feeling is it's going to end up being Leeds, but the longer there's the possibility of Lampard eating shit the better

What the fuck

Get directly the fuck in!

No man, I mean a different opinion on Richarlison
-
It's a penalty, like I said, bit let's not pretend Richarlison doesn't dive to the point of it being totally risible, or that you wouldn't have different feelings towards him if he had a different passport. But yeah you're right, hated Barton, Bowyer, and Mitrovic when they were here for similar reasons. If any of these dick heads were actually good enough to make their downsides worth it I might have thought differently. Bellamy being a good example.
-
It was a pen in the sense that you can't do that against someone who's as big of a diving cheat as Richarlison. Couldn't give a shit if he'd be 'our cunt' if he played for us, I don't like him or the way he plays.

They're the same thing ye pedant
-
So a preference then
-
lol at all the people with a preference for fucking Chelsea
-
Jesus Christ, the music
-
In real time I thought that Thiago challenge was a red. Clearly a two footed flying challenge. Not even talked about, unbelievable.
-
A good game with really poor finishing almost exclusively from Pulisic, Luis Diaz and Robertson
-
I'm reaching my Micah Richards saturation point like. Don't mind him all that much, but it feels like he's on all the time now and never really has anything insightful to say.
