That's dangerous play and a red imo

The point that was made at the time was that play is always stopped in those situations, they're not really supposed to making calls about what is and isn't genuine. It's a very simple thing to exploit and you're right both shouldn't have been stopped, but when a precedent is set and there's an anomaly like in the situation with Hayden, it's rightly open to scrutiny and accusations of bias imo.

Reminder that Hayden didn't get a free kick for being down with what looked like a head injury. Milner goes down for heading the ball and play is stopped.

After 08-14 Barca they're one of the best teams I've ever seen. No shame in our performance so far, it just winds me up how teams that already have such a huge advantage always get the rub of the green from the refs. We all know why, it's just frustrating.

Neville's not wrong, it's the blatant bias, stubbornness, and "This is Manchester United!"-ness that he's seemingly oblivious to that grates on people more than anything I think. He's not the only one either. Ex-Liverpool players were like that in the '90s and I remember wondering as a kid why so much time was being devoted to a club who never felt anywhere near challenging. Presumably kids are wondering the same thing about Man United now.

I remember scoffing at the idea of Herrera being a player Man United could win the title with. For it to now be Fred and the claim just being that he's underrated maybe tells its own story about the club's regression, I dunno.
