I get that he will get a medal and all that but it CANT genuinely feel good can it? Like he played 2 games for them, was barely even on the bench and the whole loan was just an embarrassing shambles. If man Utd win, he may have that on his Wikipedia page, but is he actually going to feel like he "won it". Cheap to me. Should support the club that have supported him for all these years IMO! At least with us he's actually the number 2.

Exactly this. Imagine Pope did what he did in the final.. I mean I get it's fucking shit that you've helped the team lose by making an error but what happened to Karius was terrible..awful set of fans. I went on RAWK to see what they thought of Karius playing in the final and one fan suggested it would be nice if he was successful and STILL, still most couldn't even bring themselves to wish him the best just because it was for us. If any ex Newcastle player went through that and then joined another team after we'd let them go because of the one error, even if it was a team I hated, I would still wish them the best. Horrible fans. I know it's only a message board but I got the general gist. Most don't care if he crashes and burns.

I think we've weirdly been the better team albeit two well taken and created chances for Liverpool. Hit the bar twice and now down to 10 men and still have had more shots. Good spirit..a Howe inspired half time chat will have the lads raring. Karius to have an absolute blinder in the cup final and stick it to Liverpool and Man Utd. But yes one or two points to forget. Potter must regret jumping ship so much. He should have stayed with Brighton. I mean, what idiot thought going to Chelsea was a good idea? Honestly, if I can see it, can he not?! His reputation has regressed so much now that when he is inevitably sacked, he will only get jobs at the likes of Southampton or Bournemouth etc and he will have not progressed at all. Anyone could see Brighton were doing well. Tbh I'm not sure how good a manager he is now since the new one is doing brilliantly also. He's had ages with that Chelsea team, plus a mini pre season. You could see instant changes at the toon with Howe and in 3 months we looked like a much better side. Chelsea look worse. Very worrying for him! Delighted for us though!

Hopefully a Newcastle win can add to that. It's what Atsu would want and that's what we need to give him!

Inevitable after so long now... Really upsetting. I thought a lot about him last night and the people of Turkey; I'm currently in Mexico and we had 3 little earthquakes over night that woke us up. The air con machine and windows rattled so hard, it felt larger than it was and was quite scary. It kept me up all night, just making me reflect and think how fucking scary it must have been in Turkey/Syria and I pray to whoever the hell is up there that Atsu and many others did not suffer and were knocked out quickly. RIP Atsu and everyone else affected by the earthquake. X

I did hear the crowd "Ryan Fraser, you're a cunt' on repeat for a while.. Quite funny..imagine if he'd been sent on! Love the fact Eddie is loved there and they know exactly how good he is. Probably the only other set of fans that do!

Eddie Howe has made me fall in love with Newcastle again. If he left, I'd be heartbroken. I think he's an amazing manager; kind, thoughtful, dedicated and above all, highly intelligent. Much more intelligent than some people on here thinking we've "outgrown him". If anything, he is so good that our own owners never expected us to be this good and we are over achieving. BECAUSE of Eddie, not in spite of him. The aim this season was a good cup run and top 10/8 I assume. And now we are 4th, with some small space in between us and 5th, in a cup final - all this with some championship players and players that Eddie himself has improved. Anyone thinking our success is down to anything but that man needs their head rolling.

Forest fans think he was their best player when he came on. We were just starting to see the best of him when he got injured so I think there's still a good player there. But now whether with someone else's coaching he won't be as good, we will have to see!

Love this guy. He was gutted about the yellow card. I think it was a bit unfair by the ref too. He did catch the ball, he just caught his man too. He will be sorely missed when be gets that 10th yellow. Luckily Bruno should be back by then.
