I think the seriousness of the situation will be handled by the police and the courts. He sounds very remorseful and upset, it may have been an over confidence thing like he didn't think he was over the limit at all or underestimated his abilities. Not condoning it at all, but he will face the consequences of his actions just like everyone else that does it and gets caught doing it. But each "job" is different and it's down to the club and Howe and how they think it is appropriate. Not everyone would even tell their job it's happened and nothing would affect them at work apart from serious questions of why they can't drive anymore. It's not a grey area because he is being punished. Whatever Howe and the club decide I support. And I hope he learns a valuable lesson from this and grows up. And never does it again.

I think he looks mint. Sometimes the ball just sticks to him. Against SW he was the star 60m man in the line up so the defenders literally hounded him out. With Miggy, Wilson, ASM, Bruno, Willock, Joelinton, Trips in the team, others won't be able to put 3 on him.. I would love love to see ASM and Isak together. ASM always gets surrounded by players and can't always find space but imagine when Isak is in it too and they don't know where to go, and both have speed and dribbling prowess! Will be exciting to watch..I hope they have chemistry in training!

Yeah thought be did well. Was quite impressed seeing as we haven't seen him for a good while. His fitness was sharp and looked like our only outlet for the first 20 mins. Made me feel better if trips gets injured but we would have to change tactics. Scary how reliant we are on Trips and Bruno. And Pope. Maybe Botman's spell of not losing is only with Pope in the side!!

I can't watch that miss... Yes he's sh*t at what he does and we should have a better back up but the way his face falls is just a bit heart breaking!!!! You can tell he knows it means he's on his way out and the miss is gonna be talked about for ages. Plus Joelintons face!!! Can't take the pain!!!

Thought he was one of our better players tbf, went on a good winding run and deliveries were pretty good. Against league one thought he looked sharper than most.

They will love to put this against us as evidence of our Saudi money but tbh, it's just luck of the draw. Just coincidence that in those instances the ref got it right. I know every fan likes to think the refs are out to get them but the way each club goes on, can't be all of us can it!

This just here. You men had that for so long. We've never had it. I played football as a youngun and never ever watched women's football. Now I look at little girls seeing England play and...win something... It's amazing. The standard of the game will rise with more and more professional contracts being given out. It will just get bigger and I hope in a different way than the mens. They don't have to be the same. It has to be ours. Something for us to be proud of, to unite. Women have no idea of their power it's been repressed for so long!!!

Patriarchy treats women as the lesser sex and therefore, men like you feel like they're entitled to comment. I've been a watcher of this forum for many years and yours is the first comment to make me resign in and fight back. I bet you didn't know that women were banned from playing football by the FA for 50 years from 1921. It's come on leaps and bounds, despite this. It was more popular back then than the mens game. And you thinking that violence means that "the game has broken out" is just laughable.
