  1. When were Everton successful though? Certainly not in the modern era. 80s was it? 40 years ago, and what since? That's not to say we've had success but we have contributed to the league significantly. We've impacted title races and European competition etc. They need to go down, have a reset and come back as something other than a place filler
  2. In all the time i've been watching the Premier League, Everton have never done or been anything other than a team that exists. Rooney was a very brief highlight and the team that contained Peinnar and Cahill was good to watch but that's it, in what, 30 years. Even when we were shit there was always chaos, entertainment, players who did some thing a little different, mental decisions that were gut wrenching to see as a fan, but at least they provided entertainment for the league and other supporters. Everton are just a dull nothing team that never do anything. I would love to see them go down just so another team has the opportunity to actually make some sort of impact.
  3. Whoever suggested Bamford needs to get in the sea. He's absolutely fucking terrible. He's a 1 in 8/9 Championship striker at best. That team under Bielsa created so many chances that it masked Bamford's wastefulness. Leeds would probably be staying up this season if Bamford hadn't fluffed so many guilt edge chances.
  4. This guy man! Absolute hero!
  5. Mental! Thank God football expert and all round in-depth analyst Clinton Morrison was there to pick it apart for us. Such incredible insight!
  6. They’ve only spent a billions pounds. I’d take second place

    Joelinton

Thought he was gonna kill Caciedo at that set piece.
  8. Never gonna beat Dan Burn, he’s from Blythe!

    Miguel Almirón

If he had a bit more composure he’d be a £60-70m player.
  10. I’m going to take back what I said earlier about Burn, he’s played an absolute blinder tonight
  11. I was properly welling up as well. Thought I was just being soft but good to hear I’m not alone. What a moment!
  12. Dan Burn finally getting on the end of set piece!!! And scoring!!! What a time to finally play to your strength big lad!
  13. What is he seeing in Burn that we’re not? Fair enough to leave him in when we were winning every game but we’re not now and Burn is playing shit
  14. And also a bit non league
  15. I know it won't happen but Burn benched, Targett in and ASM starting would give me more confidence. I doubt he'll drop Burn against his old side though
  16. Inevitable that fat mess was going to get something today. I actually felt like we were going to lose today before the game, but I put money on 2-2. I’d have taken a draw before the game so fair fucks. We just played them at exactly the wrong time
  17. It didn’t work great last time but then this lot aren’t Arsenal. I prefer the Wilson/Isak partnership at the end when the opposition is knackered
  18. I have a complaint about today but to be fair, it’s the same complaint I’ve been making for a while - we have no plan B. Arsenal have done the same as Villa did to us and we have no reply. We change personnel but the system, tactics and plan remains the same. Maybe we’d have still lost both games anyway but at least try something different if it’s blatantly obvious we’re getting bummed
  19. Leeds problem is their defenders are shit and their keeper, despite being a good shot-stopper, is error prone. They also have zero cover in midfield. If Allardyce succeeds in moulding that shower of shite into a solid defensive unit he will deserve a huge amount of credit. Fuck knows where the goals will come from though - Bamford is a 1 in 5/6 striker and they create about 3 shit chances per game.

    Anthony Gordon

He's also watching a group of players absolutely playing out of their skins week in week out, all contributing and having an absolute blast doing it. The pressure on him to step up and make an impact every time he gets minutes is huge, especially given his price tag. He probably sat there with mixed emotions when, previously written off as Championship level, Jacob Murphy scored two great goals from a position he's competing for
  21. That’s it mate, bring Davinson Sanchez on. That’ll sort it!
  22. Ridiculous! He's got West Ham written all over him.
  23. Fuck me, why don’t you foul them a bit more lads?! Waste a bit more time. wank from start to finish
