  1. Odegard the cunt holds his head after a shoulder barge
  2. Haaland & Gabriel will be a battle, hopefully both get sent off.
  3. 73,000 odd posts and you still don’t understand how a forum works 😀 Like I said, don’t think too hard son.
  4. What he needed was a run of games like he has at Forest - unfortunately I don’t think he would have got them here. He would have got the odd 15 mins off the bench. it’s the same with Miley, if he gets a solid run of games he’ll come on leaps and bounds.
  5. This where we’ve got to be ruthless. Krafth will be a fine back up until the summer.
  6. It’s time for him to be starting ahead of Big Joe, especially for home games. Yesterday against Fulham - and against Bournemouth too - it’s clear we can’t control a game with the current midfield. He’s a talent - probably the best one to come through in a decade - and needs games to progress further.
  7. Danger is he does a Coutinho, performs well on loan and then you buy him on big wages. Then drops off and you’re starting to do an Everton.
  8. Asensio has had major issues with his knee for the past couple seasons.
  9. £12.5m is a bit low for him, but I guess we’ve got to take it.
  10. Villa and Bournemouth both losing, it could have been worse.

Yet we were fine to bid £55m for Guehi. Either the money is there or we were going to sell someone. not signing a first team player for 3 windows is not going to take us forward.

    Fabian Schär

His passing has been off for a while now. Some of his long diagonal balls are still good, but gives the ball away quite a bit now.
  13. I do wish we made more tactical fouls. For their first goal today, Murphy should have pulled back the player as soon as the ball was short and taken the yellow. I’ve seen us avoid tactical fouls too often, I used to get annoyed with Longstaff regularly for not taking a yellow for the team. Today’s counter attack could have been snuffed out - and should have been- before they even got in our half.
  14. We need a speedy partner for Botman. It’s always so concerning how slow our centre backs are, thankfully with Tonali deep they’ve got some cover. Big Joe at some stage needs to be replaced by someone more technical too.
  15. Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I don't think we played particularly well. We got ourselves ahead, we conceded a couple of poor goals today, never got full control of the game like we wanted to do. Very disappointing overall. "I thought both halves weren't perfect for us. In the first half we got the lead but we rode our luck at times, I don't think we ever got control like we wanted to. Overall I didn't like the feel of us today and I feel we can do a lot better. "It's the second home game in a row where we haven't performed and that's a huge frustration for us. That's two back-to-back games where we've been nowhere near ourselves. "We just have to hold our hands up and say we didn't perform today. Athletically we weren't ourselves, all these things contribute to a disappointing day." On whether home form is a concern with a game against Arsenal coming up:"I think the whole atmosphere and feeling will be very different on Wednesday night but it's another reminder that we need to be near our best to win games and it's another example of the quality of Premier League teams."

I thought he played really well today, one of the few bright spots.
  17. We have a fantastic midfield, we should really be dominating possession a lot more with Tonali and Bruno. Just really disappointed we had no control at all today.
  18. Schar’s passing has been off for a while and when it’s off we don’t really progress the ball through Burn. At least Sven can pass through to our midfield as another option.
