He was playing straight after the injury occurred for a start before it became obvious he needed time out. He then returned and it was blatantly obvious that he was still not right.

No the medical team said he needed surgery according to Howe and if it's Botman who insisted he didn't need the surgery, then he should have been told straight that he wasn't playing then.

What a fucking balls up with this injury. He had a slight tear on his ACL and he's still allowed to play. It's been totally obvious that he was nowhere near ok to play and according to Howe the medical team advised him to get the surgery. The player should have been told that if he wasn't going to get surgery then he wouldn't be playing. I wonder if Botman would be still wanting to play if a certain tournament wasn't taking place this summer. So now we have had a player totally being sub standard as a result of an injury and is now facing a minimum of 9 months out due to this injury, when he should have been in for surgery when it first occurred. Absolute shambles.

Disgusting some of the comments about her, It's ok saying you don't rate somebody, but personal abuse is unacceptable. No surprise though with the current level of social media.

The club have already moved on quite a few of those lasses who were paying for their own strips. There will be a few more being moved on in the summer also. That's what happens when you are now a full time professional club aiming to play at the highest level. I'll not go on again about my thoughts on the goalkeeper, I've covered that a few times before.

Yeah I agree, I just think our keeper is just too short, too slow and her decision making and kicking is shocking. I hate to call out someone living the dream, but it's a professional football team now and there is no room for sentiment.

I feel really sorry for you as that performance was (and the standard in general) shocking. I've seen some ok football from the girls this year and that's why I'm stunned watching that final. I've see higher standard kids games at ten and under. I saw more entertainment in two minutes of highlights at half time (even then the errors were poor) than I did in the full 97 from the final. I've mentioned to you before about that keeper as she is terrible. I'll obviously keep an interest as they represent the club, but Becky has some strong decisions to make in the summer. Don't think Becky had a good day at the office either as the team just played into the hands of Hashtag all game, apart from a ten minute spell at the start of the second half.

I also thought Hashtag looked fitter throughout. That really surprised me seeing as one team is full time and the other only trains twice a week.

Being playing right into their hands the last 10 minutes just playing hoof ball. One thing it's showed half of that team need to be replaced next year, so it might be a good insight. The standard today was abysmal and quite shocked at how poor we looked and Hashtag were like the equivalent of a League 2 men's team. That keeper is shocking though and was to blame for most of Hashtag's dangerous attacks as she just fucked up all game. She is too small, too slow and can't kick. Luckily the league (most important) will be a consolation and then a rebuild will no doubt follow. That's arguably one of the worst standard of football games I've ever seen.
