Not sure how it’s even being debated. Regardless of what his intent was, or how he stumbled, it was a shit challenge and could’ve seriously injured an opponent. You just can’t go studs up on someone’s leg.
-
I mean it’s quite remarkable that Dyche has kept them in the PL so comfortably if £15m is a club record fee.
-
Imagine getting rid of Lejeune to bring fucking Phil Jones in.
-
Whilst I have no idea what that means, if it was that simple, why wouldn’t they have done that 12 months ago? I’m sure these really expensive lawyers we’re paying for would’ve thought that’d be an option, compared to George on Twitter. Fairly sure this info isn’t ‘new’ and was rebuffed by one of the local rags a month or two ago too, although can’t remember which one.

They should call the match off and throw the book at Nice like. Give Marseille a 3-0 win. Fans can fuck off acting like that. Absolutely thickos. Only way to punish them is to fuck the result off for them.
-
I had exactly the same as you - plus Fabianski, Benrahma and Antonio. In a 4-4-2 you could probably fit all 8 in. Admittedly the last three are debatable. Not sure how many of ours they would have. Wilson and ASM maybe?
-
When has he ever done that though? The only manager he has sacked while we’ve been in/near the bottom three was McClaren. That only happened because Rafa approached us. If Rafa didn’t approach us, McClaren would’ve stayed in charge. Carver wasn’t sacked despite hurtling us towards the drop. He took a 50/50 gamble with him on the final day. Bruce wasn’t sacked last season despite massive warning signs and possibilities of relegation. Pardew survived multiple shaky moments and eventually only left of his own accord. Hughton was sacked because of Ashley’s desire to bring Pardew in due to his dodgy dealings. Allardyce was only sacked because he wasn’t Ashley’s choice to begin with.
-
Sacked Not a chance he is going anywhere. Ashley doesn’t sack managers.
-
Of their starting 11 last week, there is at least 8 I would happily transfer immediately into our team.
-
The Saudi deal is the only one that works for Ashley because they’re willing and able to vastly overpay, which will reduce or remove Ashley’s usual clauses for all other buyers.
-
Fair enough, maybe I’m wrong. I don’t rate Kovacic that highly mind.
-
Fair enough. I don’t think Chelsea’s midfield/defence is anywhere near as good.
-
Better than Liverpool? Assuming you mean Man City have the best.
-
I don’t think they’re anymore near as strong as people seem to be making out. They’ll do well, such as getting in the top four/maybe winning a trophy, but I don’t think they’ll come close to Man City in the league.
-
You get so salty, hun. Don’t worry, you’ll win the “getting into the top four” trophy and that’s all Man Utd need these days. Funnily enough, we both want the same thing… OGS to remain at Man Utd for as long as possible. But for very different reasons
-
OGS Imagine needing a winner and dominating the game and ruining it by bringing fucking McTominay on. Going to be hilarious hearing Man Utd fans fall over themselves to make excuses for not succeeding, again. Already playing down the amount they’ve spent.
-
It’s not like Sky Sports reporters to tow the club’s line. How unusual.
-
Finally decided to put myself through the pain of the highlights. Not sure what anyone is complaining about either decision, tbh. Lascelles handles it, if he doesn’t, the ball is likely to go in the net. Wilson looks marginally offside without even drawing any lines. A bit like last week with West Ham’s penalty decision. It could go either way, but ultimately we only have ourselves to blame because even without the decision(s) we weren’t in the game.
-
Everyone knows his stint at Aston Villa was Rafa’s fault.
-
These are the games he would’ve fluked a result out of last season. Not a great sign for him, what a shame.
