When has he ever done that though? The only manager he has sacked while we’ve been in/near the bottom three was McClaren. That only happened because Rafa approached us. If Rafa didn’t approach us, McClaren would’ve stayed in charge. Carver wasn’t sacked despite hurtling us towards the drop. He took a 50/50 gamble with him on the final day. Bruce wasn’t sacked last season despite massive warning signs and possibilities of relegation. Pardew survived multiple shaky moments and eventually only left of his own accord. Hughton was sacked because of Ashley’s desire to bring Pardew in due to his dodgy dealings. Allardyce was only sacked because he wasn’t Ashley’s choice to begin with.

I don’t think they’re anymore near as strong as people seem to be making out. They’ll do well, such as getting in the top four/maybe winning a trophy, but I don’t think they’ll come close to Man City in the league.

Finally decided to put myself through the pain of the highlights. Not sure what anyone is complaining about either decision, tbh. These are the games he would’ve fluked a result out of last season. Not a great sign for him, what a shame.

Good chance this’ll be the worst season yet. Full strength team and we’re getting spanked off West Ham and Aston Villa ffs. Injuries more than likely to appear with Bruce’s lack of ability. Hopefully it’ll get really ugly. Something has got to happen to force some sort of action.
