As much as I can’t stand Steve Bruce, he was genuinely unlucky tonight - injuries to key players ruined us and changed the balance of the game. Doesn’t excuse 18 months of s**** though.
No.
His poor tactical and personnel changes to react to those injuries changed the balance of the game.
-
Another game we’d have won if we had a competent manager in charge.
Loads more positives, I’m sure...
-
I’m at the stage where if Bruce is here, I want the place to burn to the ground.
The moment he leaves will be the moment I hope we start to pick up points.
If that leaves us in the Championship, so be it. It’ll be down to Bruce and Ashley not making a change. If the Championship kills the takeover, so be it. If they’re as serious as they’ve made themselves out to be, relegation wouldn’t change their desire to sign on the dotted line.

I think I preferred the tedious arguments over KSA’s human rights record rather than these arguments over who knows more about a takeover that barely exists.

https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/PCP-v-Barclays-Summary.pdf
Interesting that the judge largely confirms the truth of Staveley's allegations re the conduct of Barclays, but denies any compensation whatsoever on the grounds that PCP is basically a non-existent enterprise that had no real-world ability to raise any finance.
That’s not true though is it, who brought Mansour to the table for the first Barclays bail out. Did she earn 300 million for f*** all ?
Ahh, you’re right. That silly High Court judge hasn’t got a clue compared to you.
-
Just gotta wait for him to log out and sign back in as manorpark to hear their response.
-
I find it fascinating how every piece of bad news is immediately discredited by some posters
“Have you seen Staveley has been sent to prison for murder?”
“Yeah, but... It doesn’t matter because the consortium could just use someone else to front the bid”
“Have you seen Saudi Arabia have lost all of their money and gone bankrupt?”
“Yeah, but... They’re just hiding the money for the takeover”
-
Blimey.
How could we possibly expect Fulham to win 2 games? They’re practically Barcelona.
Poor Steve, he’s so unlucky.
-
Why is he comparing the results of a promoted championship team with a mid-table premier league team?
Because it’s becoming harder and harder to find stats in Bruce’s favour.

You only joined up 5 minutes ago so I don’t know how you are in a position to be saying who is who?
Just seems that me stating a cold hard truth that the donnay army are almost as bad as Ashley in the destruction of this club has upset a poor sheeple. What a shame he can’t handle the truth. Bet he’s one of the ones who can’t wait to get back to supporting big Mike and Brucey
Dunno who he thinks he is calling a wum like. Fact is that stadium should have been empty for Bruce’s first match and remained so then the c*** wouldn’t be here now and likely neither would Ashley if he had 2 years of an empty stadium
Well, he’s had 12 months of an empty stadium and he’s still here.
‘Cold hard truth’ that match-going fans are the problem is a load of bollocks. The biggest issue is the fanbase is fractured and not united, as evidenced by pathetic comments like yours. Maybe if we had a fanbase working in one direction, it’d have more effect.
Too many personalities trying to push their own Twitter likes up. We must have the most ‘fan groups’ in the world. There is a new one popping up every two minutes. The Trust only appear when they want some new m£mbers on the back of hysteria.
Obviously it’s not easy to get tens/hundreds of thousands of people to agree, but more needs to be done.

Well said tubes. You tell them.

A lot of talk about confidence. There’s been confidence of some sort for nearly 12 months now.
Still no signs whatsoever that this deal is even remotely close.
What’s the new #wait deadline now January and February have both passed without action? Still March? Or the end of the season?
MA ‘hands off’ from the club and concentrating on other business, Bruce being allowed to sleepwalk into a relegation... barely even sounds like a deal is still in the pipeline at all, to be honest. If it was, I doubt everyone would be sat around watching this relegation play out.
Ashley is supposedly desperate for this £300m deal and spending a fortune on the best legal brains in the footballing world. Yet he doesn’t want to sack the manager due to the minimal compensation due.
-
That’s a totally bizarre appointment by Bournemouth.
-
I mean, they’re still shockingly shit... He can hardly be here to gloat

I know this is counter productive but I hate when this thread gets bumped, which happens very often. It's almost 6.5 years since he left but this thread can't have left the front page on many occasions in that time period. He doesn't deserve so much attention.
I'm so used to that video that I forgot to think: I can't believe he fuckin did that
The best part of it all is that it ended in defeat.

Come back in here and some div is talking to himself

Probably a 6 at the moment. Closer to 7 than a 5.
If we don’t sack Bruce, I genuinely think we’ll go down. The only question is whether we leave it too late or not.

Jacobs is the only journalist to have got it right more often than not.
He’s the only one worth listening to. A tongue in cheek post has obviously upset a few sensitive souls.

So who is making decisions? No wonder we float around into the abyss when MA steps back and Charnley isn’t even qualified to choose what A4 paper to order.
Justin Barnes - but Ashley will be overseeing everything. Make no mistake.
If this is the case (which I suspect it is), how is it acceptable for someone who is not even employed by the club to be making decisions about the running of said club?
Is this not the sort of thing the O&D test was implemented for?

Poor goalkeeper in a poor side looks good having to make 30 saves a game shocker.
-
Crazy how slightly standing on someone’s toe causes them to lose both of their legs and flail their arms in the air.
In modern day VARball, it’s a penalty. But it never should be in a million years. Another reason VAR is pants.

I think this game could be the tipping point, a Brighton-esque performance and 3-0 defeat.
This is Bruce’s McClaren Bournemouth match.

We scored and immediately sat 10 yards behind the halfway line, again. Happened so many times under him.
If you allow pressure in the PL, we’ll concede because we’re not coached well enough defensively.
