  1. Not on him but how does ramsdale not get carded there?

I’ve never noticed until I’ve started playing on cards just how many players get away with it in a game.

At least 2 or 3 poor/cynical fouls per game that don’t get punished.

  2. Annoying how Son is getteing zero bonuses

Looks like he'll get 2 points?

Hooray! Looked like he was on course for zero

Don't really understand the bonus points system

The top 3 players on the pitch (can be from one, either or both teams) get bonus points in order.

    1st - 3

    2nd - 2

    3rd - 1

If there is a tie for first place, Players 1 & 2 will receive 3 points each and Player 3 will receive 1 point.

If there is a tie for second place, Player 1 will receive 3 points and Players 2 and 3 will receive 2 points each.

If there is a tie for third place, Player 1 will receive 3 points, Player 2 will receive 2 points and Players 3 & 4 will receive 1 point each.

Bonus point score is calculated based on a wide variety of things. Successful passes, tackles, chances created, crosses etc. Basically anything ‘successful’ is a good mark and things like conceding goals, individual errors, unsuccessful passes etc are bad marks.

Generally, it actually works out about right and the people finishing in the top 3 places you can say ‘Yeah, they had a great game’. I think they use OPTA for all of the stats which make up the scoring.

  3. Didn't watch much of that, but Neville saying good performance - best all around display - score 3 at home and don't win  ???

Man Utd could lose 8-0 and Neville would announce it as the greatest display on Earth.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Froggy is actually Neville.

Froggy - do you still have a bath with your brother?

  4. I still don’t get those things like. Why do people make the reaction videos and why do people watch them?

    Agreed.

It’s not even the strangest thing to grace YouTube. People making videos to show other people what they bought at Primark, only eating green food for 24 hours, people streaming themselves playing video games etc.

YouTube is largely now a cesspit for the people who would struggle to open a tin of beans on their own.

  5. In normal speed it’s clear he’s trying to lift his arm to free himself of Mitro. Slow it down to the nth degree and suddenly it looks like something it wasn’t.

Another example of the ridiculousness of VAR.

  6. £10 on NUFC and West Ham double @5/1.

£12 on NUFC to score 3+ goals @6/1

£2 on NUFC to score 5+ goals @66/1

    Those odds are very poor

Got to agree. How many times have we scored more than 2 in the league all season? Once v Burnley

We’ve only scored 2 or more in 6/22 games

  7. Hopefully a defeat by 2 or more goals today.

Couldn’t give a fuck about any influence by Jones and undermining Bruce. They can all get to fuck. Back to back defeats until this clown is sacked.

No sign of a takeover, so what’s the point in picking up wins and keeping him in a job longer. This football makes me want to claw my eyes out with a piece of liquorice.

  8. Pardew broke records relating to form and derby day beatings. I think he managed 4 of the “6 in a row”. How do you think you would feel if Steve Bruce lost back to back to back to back games against Sunderland? Sometimes 3-0. At home. With Jack Colback running riot for them.

At least Steve can say he delivered our best Derby result in the last 40 years.

Bruce is more than capable of losing 6 in a row to L1 Sunderland, nevermind the PL version.

  9. Feel like he shot every time after that. :smitten: f***ing Tiote.

That was down to the idiots in the stands shouting ‘shoot’ every time he touched the ball. That’s one if the cringiest things about football supporters, my pet hate tbf.

Tiote though. He was an absolute machine at times. Still remember the exact moment of finding out about him passing, absolutely dreadful.

  10. Swansea manager doing a brilliant job

Didn’t realise his only experience before the England youth team was youth roles at Wrexham and Liverpool.

Some gamble by Swansea giving it to him but they always seem to appoint aspiring managers who move onto good things. Fuck me. I’m jealous of Swansea City.

  11. I'm hesitant to explain in detail cos I have on here several times before and certain folks are doubtless sick of reading the same thing, but, in a nutshell, Pardew taught Ashley that it wasn't worth competing. By May 2013 we were cooked as a sporting institution under Ashley. We've never recovered from the damage Pardew caused; Bruce is just a symptom of what we became in that period.

Mike Ashley never had any intention of competing. Certainly not after Keegan walked out of the door. If anything it was that point which taught Ashley anything - hire people who won’t question anything or expect anything from their role.

We hired Joe Kinnear ffs. You’ve got no interest in being a football club at that point. Pardew was just another yes man in the line of yes men.

Bruce would 100% still be at this club, regardless of Pardew. Because he’s a pathetic little patsy and that’s the only person Ashley wants in charge.
