  1. I much prefer a SJP, Ewood Park or Craven Cottage over a Emirates Stadium, Olympic Stadium, Spurs’ ground.

To me it feels more like football sitting uncomfortably in a shit plastic seat with no legroom, rather than having a padded bum.

I also think atmospheres do suffer as a result. You’re more likely to attract the ‘prawn sandwich brigade’ if their backsides can be heated during the match.

Could I care less about all of the extra add ons you get a Tottenham? Not really. I go to the football to do exactly that, watch the match.

Extend SJP to it’s max and we’ll live with it.

  2. Unfortunately I don’t think there is any fair way of doing it other than just putting them on sale and allowing the scramble to take shape.

Everyone will have their own reason for wanting priority - impossible to justify who is more deserving than others.

My own preference would be to contact everyone who gave up their tickets over the Ashley era and allow them the opportunity to get it back.

  3. The best thing about all of this is how they cannot see the fact they hate their owners for being cost cutting/asset stripping cowboys who hide things through PR bluster, but also continue to tell us Ashley was a great owner

Fuck them. Would love them to go bust completely or end up in League Two or something.

I doubted him and I don’t think it was particularly knee-jerk after our results and performances from his first 10 games.

There has been a vast improvement from the 4-0 defeat by Man City. Since then we’ve played well and got results.

I actually think we’re playing slightly different now to how we were in the first 10. We’re much more reserved, not fucking about with the ball too much and looking to move it forward faster/playing on the counter, which is absolutely the right thing to do for this team.

I’m surprised he changed it, but that’s a good sign that he’s noticed what he was doing before wasn’t working.

I still have some question marks around him in terms of whether he’ll be able to scale up and take us forward long term, but right now he’s doing a good job and I’m pleased for him.

I’d love him to be with us for years and take us forward because he’s quite likeable.

Depends on the ground and where the speakers are I guess. Hear plenty of away fans singing at grounds around the league

The mics are pitch side and also hang from L7.

I don’t think it’s distorted much at all. I think people think they’re in a much better atmosphere when they’re in amongst it rather than what can actually be heard from the other side of the ground.

So many times I’ve seen opposing fans talk about how much they sung their hearts out, but it being barely audible from the Gallowgate.

Unless the whole ground joins in (which is still quite rare), it’s not that loud. I mean the atmosphere is still good, but I don’t think it’s that distorted from reality.

Can I just ask, has anyone thought of their '6 in a row' and bothered lately?

The only time I can honestly say it comes into my head is when I go on their awful forum and see them talking about it

At the time, the results were shite. But can’t say I’ve cared much since they were relegated (twice). That’s given me much more enjoyment than beating them x amount of times in a row if they were in the PL.

  7. Still not sure if this is just a purple patch, but fucking hell he’s playing well.

Hope he keeps it up. He’s sort of my favourite player now, he has quite a smile on him. Not quite Papiss levels of grin, but it’s still nice.

Notice the photo of him at the RVI reception right... he's already wearing the moon boot, does that mean that the club doctor put it on him, rather than the hospital? You wouldn't see the reception on your way out of A&E.

I'm pure clutching and going against my own ITK here mind.

I don’t know why but I always assumed clubs would have private healthcare for x-rays like this  Seems mad that he’s been sat in the waiting room at the RVI.

  9. I didn’t realise Gerrard had been in charge as long as he has - for some reason had convinced myself that Man Utd 2-2 was his first game.

I thought Villa were extremely ordinary. They actually played into our hands quite a lot by throwing themselves to the floor and slowing the game down and making it so stop-start.

Burn, Fraser and Schar were outstanding today. Thought Willock and Joelinton both played well too.

  10. Thought Kraft actually did quite well in the second half. It’d be a blow but I don’t think it’d make or break us, we’re riding a wave at the moment and I expect that to continue.

Funnily enough I’d probably be more concerned with scoring goals without Trippier, rather than conceding them.
