  1. People may disagree with me on this but I actually love players who piss off opposition teams and opposition fans. Like, yeah he's a cunt but he's our cunt. Richarlison is probably the player loved most by everton fans as well. His work rate is up there with the best in the league, as well as his will to win. He only does this stuff to help his team have a better chance of winning. He also probably takes battles with other players personally and gets triggered, but even then he's always smart in his shithousery and he wouldn't be on the pitch doing brainless shit like a mitrovic for example. Personally I'd absolutely love it if we signed Richarlison, even if he has pissed me off massively watching him playing against us or watching him as a neutral. Edit: Just to add, if his antics is the main reason people don't want him here that says a lot. Nobody is questioning his ability or talent as a football player and his work rate and will to win is top tier.
  2. Payer loan department.... Sounds like a goodbye for Shola
  3. It's looking like they're going to be signing Lewandowski (publicly said today that he wants to leave Bayern this summer) who's wages won't be cheap either
  4. How can they get away with that so easily though? I know most people realise how much of a joke FFP is but Barcelona being allowed to get away with blatantly lying about player sales is absolutely absurd right? "40m on a brazilian striker for Brucey, that'll get those annoying fuckers off my back"
  5. Could you explain this a bit further? Do you mean that clubs lie about transfer fee's in order to get around FFP? As I type this I remember some talk about Joelinton after he signed that there was no way we actually payed 40m for him.
  6. To the people saying Henderson is terrible and worse or not an improvement on Dubravka, what are you basing that opinion on? His year at Sheffield United he was a class shot stopper, and I think everyone can agree he's better with his feet than Dubravka. The year he left Sheffield he was going back to compete with De Gea and I think a lot of fans at that time actually wanted Henderson to be the man u number 1. After going back to Man u, the combination of some questionable games from Henderson and then De Gea being very good again when he did play lead to Dea Gea cementing himself as the number 1. Correct me if I'm wrong. @Froggy My point is that when Henderson has had a full season (at Sheff U). He was one of the best keepers in the league that year and a lot of people wanted him to be Englad no.1. After leaving Sheff U the next season they fell apart and were relegated. Not gonna say it was purely down to them not having Henderson but it's possible it played a part. For me he's already an improvement on Dubravka and still has many years to improve.
  7. Diego Simeone's son? Didn't know he had a son that played football
  8. Do we need to stop dismissing everything he says? As much as he is a cunt I'm starting to think he's one of the most reliable (apart from when it comes to budgets)
  9. The real version of him knows his stuff
  10. ahhh it had me for a second
  11. Didn't we offer Sevilla around 30m in Jan? I think I remember them asking for something like 40/50m.
  12. Very good list, I'd also add Pau Torres although a bit higher profile than your names.
  13. Alcott has suggested we sign Cody Gakpo who I had never really heard of. Time for a youtube scouting session
  14. Great video. Dunno if there's a better thread for this question but what's everyone's favourite goal since the takeover?
  15. Never conisdered that but it makes sense. Also dangerous though, they could end up like Everton (even if not to the same extent) while we build a solid base slowly and meticulously.
  16. Yeah, I don't get the people turning their noses up at Gray, think he'd be a good signing. He's better than Almiron, Murphy, and Fraser. More direct than Maxi too and a better striker of the ball.
  17. Rafa played Gray as a second striker a fair bit this season.
  18. Has he always preferred that formation or has it been one he has been forced to play due to players at his disposal? You could also say that for the first time ever he has a chance to buy high calibre players for a system he has always wanted to play but hasn't been able to. I also think that Howe sticking with 4-3-3 is more likely than him reverting back to 4-4-2. https://www.coachesvoice.com/cv/eddie-howe-newcastle-bournemouth-tactics/ This article talks about how he tried to switch to a 4-3-3 in the 19/20 season but his squad didn't suit the shape and he was forced to revert to a 4-4-2.
  19. I really believe that Howe wants to move to a 3 at the back formation next season. Towards the end of his Bournemouth career he started to use the 3-4-3 that beat conte's Chelsea more and more frequently. Also if he plans on sticking to a back 4 it wouldn't make sense to sign Lodi (who struggles defensively in a back 4) over Targett. The 3-4-3 would work well for Maxi as well, it would allow him to play as on the left wing but with less defensive responsibility.
  20. Would that not suggest that the defense playing in front of him are allowing him to be exposed to a lot of high quality shots(high xG shots) ?
  21. Ekitike has been linked to so many clubs. Off the top of my head I've seen him linked to: NUFC, Liverpool, Dortmund, Arsenal, Brentford, PSG
  22. Where is Beale going? I remember reading about him when we were still looking for a manager and were linked to Gerrard. I was actually ready to accept Gerrard purely because this Beale guy sounded like a genius.
  23. Can watch two of our Striker transfer targets in the same game in 30 mins. Reims vs Nice - Ekitikie vs Gouiri
