Yeah don't get me wrong when Schar has a good game he looks very classy (last game against Leeds) but he's just as prone to a clanger as our other CB's aside from Fede who I can't remember ever seeing a clanger from. Conclusion: It should be Burn and Fede starting in a back 4.

Schar is also a constant worry though. He's had as many clangers as Clark or Lascelles they just don't get made into a big deal because he makes a nice pass or dribbles past a few players occasionally.

Still better than Lewis going forward (He doesn't panic in attacking positions and can has a good cross on him). He's not great with the ball at the feet but better than dummet and It's not like Lewis or Ritchie ever go past players.

That LB Kamara they signed looked good against us but is very small and lightweight. IIRC he was bullied in the air for one of Norwich's goals in their last game.

Yeah I know shelvey will most likely play this is just what I hope Eddie goes for. I've seen the Etikite has played on the wing before and I think he might provide more of a goal threat than fraser, with Bruno's passes and Wood's knock ons.

I'd go with something like this: Wood ASM Ekitike Joelinton - Bruno- Willock Targett - Burn - Schar - Trippier Dubs

Yeah most likely he will be an impact player. Is it possible that Howe might try out a front three of wood asm hugo?

We won't care in 5 years when Hugo has cemented himself as the best striker in Europe and is worth 200 million!

Dan Burn suits playing as a CB more I think. I looked at Brighton's last 5 games or so and he's started as a left sided centre half in their back 4 for those games. Obviously it's a plus that he's a very flexible player which is why Potter likes him so much.

I doubt that's true, If Trippier is on 100k or just under, no way Bruno is getting almost double what Trippier is getting.

If the leaks are coming from the seller/player's side, what does that have to do with the club?

This has been discussed a lot on here and I think most agree that the leaks aren't from within the club. What would Mehrdad or Stavely have to gain from leaking a story like this? Whereas the selling club or the players agent have something to gain by leaking it, could cause another club to come in with a higher bid or higher wages for the player.

I think this is likely the most accurate scenario. It does make you wonder what our board are trying to accomplish. My best guess is that they wanted the player to force a move and get him on a bargain. I guess similar to how PSG got a bargain from us on Cabaye?

Fucking love it. Whole team put in a massive shift.

I do think he hit a purple patch goals wise that he probably won't repeat. But when it comes to dribbling, receiving the ball and trying to find a forward pass, he's lightyears ahead of longstaff. His tackling is also underrated. His problem at the moment is lack of confidence/sharpness and he has been ghosting as a result of that but there is definitely a player in there.
