  1. 5ft 5 with that massive quiff. Rotten then leather gloves mind.
  2. Would have been some OG, that.
  3. Stronger Arsenal XI than I thought it would be.
  4. Joe Rodon. Loan. Maybe. (telegraph)
  5. Dunno which thread it was in, but remember Batty being discussed the other day. This popped up on my FB TL when a Leeds mate commented on it. Some canny tackles in there: https://www.facebook.com/LeedsUnited/videos/1809782945886806
  6. You'd hope so. Point I was trying to make was maybe he just doesn't fancy a relegation scrap full stop.
  7. I think he's probably done enough to warrant a move elsewhere that's better than Newcastle. But as you said, I don't really know if there's any teams in desperate need for a LB right now.
  8. Absolutely, but that doesn't necessarily mean bringing them on at 0-3/0-4 down is the right thing to do. They just need to keep at it in training/academy games, and their time will come.
  9. There's nothing to gain from throwing Anderson and/or White on whilst we are getting absolutely spanked. They'll learn nothing from being given the run around from the likes of de Bruyne or Sterling when the rest of our players have already given up on the game and half the fans had walked out. May as well stick Hendrick on so he can get given the runaround and if and when he puts in a stinker of a performance then that will give us all the more of a reason to flog him when we can. Asprilla wasn't half-pissed either, he had a glass of wine. He was 27 years old when we signed him, a seasoned international who had played in 1 world cup and 2 Copa Americas. When he was thrown on against Boro, he was thrown on in a Newcastle team that had quality throughout the XI against a very average Boro team. Man City are a world class side, Boro were most definitely not. Asprilla was an international with well over 200+ appearances for club and country, Anderson and White have 1 or 2 appearances between them. Asprilla was making his debut in a Newcastle side full of confidence and quality, this current Newcastle side is total shit and in a huge relegation dogfight. I'm all for giving the young lads a crack, but when the time is right - that isn't now.
  10. Has he just fell off a car again like?
  11. Away win and a load of trouble from the Mancs before/after the match.
  12. He could sign the dotted line tonight but won't start until the end of January? The Athletic could get it wrong as well. Or he might not get appointed at all.
  13. Aye bring Anderson or White on when we're getting absolutely spanked at home when the ground has already half emptied. Be a real good bit of learning experience for them, that.
  14. We've had a bald four-eyed gonk named Lee running the entire club for the last 8 years. I've no idea who Dan Ashworth is but I suspect he pisses all over Charnley.
  15. Touché. There's sufficient time to keep us up - half a season is left and we're only 3pts adrift. A good transfer window will see us home and dry methinks.
  16. Like he has with Joelinton? Overall, the team we have - specifically the defence - is total horseshit.
  17. Agreed. But it's Leeds so who gives a shit!
  18. Really want Arsenal to gan for it in the 2nd half.
  19. He reminds me of Adam Armstrong.
  20. Look a tidy little side now Arsenal. Unfortunately.
  21. Is Bruce not the master at conserving energy and doing fuck all, though?
