Only time will tell, can never tell in football who is going to click and who isn't. We needed a ST and we have one. If he gets a few crucial goals and keeps defender's busy for others to score its good business for me.

Cant see why people are complaining, Wilson is out for 2 months minimum. Is Wood better than anyone else we have in the meantime? I would say yes. Is he a premier league ST and will be ready for Saturday without needing broken in, again yes. OK he isn't going to get anyone excited but we desperately needed someone like that ASAP. Hopefully we get more quality nearer the end of the window but we definitely have more chance of winning the next few games with him than without.

If it was me and at this moment in time I'd have gone to villa also. They have better players and are almost guaranteed Premier league football next year. The team is going in the right direction and we aren't. That's not to say we can't turn this around and in the summer we maybe the preferred option to players that become available but for now we just aren't. Money isn't everything and we have to face the fact we might be in the championship next season.

All depends on how highly they rate him, if he is going to be as good as some say for they age it's not a huge price but tbh I know very little about him so can't say if it's over priced or could still be a bargain in the long run. If he is here for many years it's a great deal but if he flops it's money down the drain.
