This was an instagram post he put up of him and his agent laughing. This was the Summer we really tried to sign him and then he went to PSG. I assume it was totally unrelated to Newcastle but seeing a promising player you're offering big money for laughing on instagram with his agent and then going to PSG instead just pissed everyone off regardless of the context. I can see where you're coming from, that's fair. I think he'd shed that 5 in 20 stuff in a different team but who knows.

I don't disagree with anything you have said EXCEPT the Haaland name drop as if he's not been struggling for that exact reason. He's been starved of reliable service and forced to play up top with little supoprt in a system that doesn't suit his talent. He's still scored tons because he's an exceptional player, but his skillset is being totally wasted by Guardiola. He's a monster when he's running at defenders and playing one twos and making clever runs. Pep seems to wants him to wrestle all game and occupy the defenders so other plays can develop (it often doesn't work).
